WOWZERS!!

Did anyone else make the connection with the AE86 S.S.?

The S.S. stands for Shuichi Shigeno, or the AUTHER OF INITIAL D!!

correct me if i am wrong, but i though it was neat, so i share...

Toyota AE102 Corolla wagon, with all-trac (Toyota all-wheel-drive), which in itsself isn't so wierd to imagine in another market, but with a 20-valve 4AG! Variable-valve-timing and individual throttle bodies in an all-wheel-drive wagon-It boggles the mind, and it is so cool!!!

its in the states alright. if u live in california, try going to this big arcade called A.i (Artificial Intelligence **spelling??**) they have it there.:)

pertaining to the thread topic, Shuichi Shigeno had an old aqauintance within the original gran turismo development team (wayyyy back in the early 90s)his input for the game was greatly appreciated, as a special bonus, the shinego apex trueno was added
he continues to do work on the new GT force steering wheel as well!

...dont know if shinego or his friend, there a bad experience with an 86 trueno in a horrific crash! he couldn't stand to see such a beutiful machine become ruined when drifting. that is why there is no damge in any gran turismo.

how much influence does initial d have in gran turismo?
more than you think.
the plot thickens......

That has hardly anything to do with the reason there isn't any damage. It's because the manufacturers wouldn't allow it.
