Le Mans 24 Hours thread, driver has died but people argue over if they can post a video of it. I;ve reminded people of the AUP but not everyone has taken notice.

Posting here as I don't see any active mods online right now.

As long as there's no blood or gore I don't see why it would violate the AUP.

It's different because he didn't die in the accident, he died later in hospital.

I don't think it's particularly tasteful, but I don't think it's breaking the AUP either.

Ok McLaren, hardly mini-modding, just asking for clarification on what is acceptable.

Just out of interest, why would the moderators be likely to see this sooner than a Private Message?

Because mods check site support frequently, as I said, no mods where shown active when I was going to send a PM.

Reporting posts goes to all active SuperMods so the next one online would (theoretically) see it. 👍

As I can't seem to ask about something without people trying to pick holes, i'll lock it up. Feel free to PM me mods.

Personally, I would just link to a story or video with a warning. No need to post it everywhere on our boards if some people are not prepared to see it or to see the wreckage.

Now that it's not breaking news and that we know he died from the wreck, I think it would be in poor taste to put or keep video up.

Final decision is Jordan's though, and we'll let you know when it's made.
