Key points:
- Updated protest system, straight from replays and no protest cool down. Will get protest tokens back for successful protests.

Half a million copies sold on PC sounds a lot to me when I keep seeing so many people saying sim racing is niche.



I'd imagine it'll do a lot better on colsole, but could be wrong?

Although, the 40k figure sounds low or is that sub not really needed? (Still waiting on Xbox version, without a Game Pass sub for any muktiplayer, unless they make a free muktiplayer variant like many big titles offer).

The Sub is needed when you want to do online (team) championships and to use your own liveries online mainly. It has a few more perks but those are the main reasons to get it. There is also a pro subscription which includes all dlc as long as it’s active.

I drive a lot of lmu and don’t have it, the non-championship weekend team races can be done without sub and other than that i mostly drive private leagues

I think most people buy the sub to do online championships, including me. The big draw form console players will likely be the career mode when that drops. I think the biggest hindrance to consoles online is there won't be console-PC cross platform online.

Their technical support was a little difficult for me. When I had the problem where the game would not load past 51% I had to register for Race Control, filled out their form then had to wait about 24-48 hours between suggestions that didn't work. Eventually they said they didn't know what the problem was and it was going to have to go to 2nd level support or something like that. But in the meantime someone on their Discord said you had to turn your VPN off for the game to fully load.

I still can't resume the game from a pause and both of my Fanatec rims have no LED functions but I guess I'm just going to have to live with it.

I guess you did that already, but have your re-installed drivers for fanatec? I never had issues with any of my wheels in the game, other than that they messed up ffb for hypercars in 1.3.

Yeah everything is up to date. I have no LED's for AMS2 either but I do for Assetto Corsa, F1 24, and Project Motor Racing. I thought maybe there was something in the LMU game itself I had to turn on but if it is I can't find it.
