If this is going to be called "LMP1000", then all of the cars should have a minimum weight of 1000 kg, as that's how the previous LMP900 and LMP675 classes were.

Some notes from round 1 testing.

Torque
When tuned to 1000hp most of the cars torque was around 110-130kgfm. However the Audi R10 and Peugeot 908 were at around 200kgfm. The base weight for these cars is around 930kg though.

Top Speed
Also top speeds averaged around mid 230mph's for group c and high 220mph's for modern lmp-closed. Testing revealed top speed of 253mph for Pescarolo 05 and 247mph for Bentley.

My test on Motegi East with only 2 of the 4 cars (other 2 to follow).

These were done with minimal car setup:-

Mercedes C9 (1030bhp/980kg)
Average lap for me: 1:09.+

Mercedes C9 (1000bhp/900kg)
Average lap for me: 1:08.+

Mazda 787B (987bhp/900kg)
Average lap for me: 1:09.+

Note: To me the cars felt a lot better running at 1000bhp and minimum weight.

Managed the same Mercedes times too.

Definitely agree re weight. The more the weight increases the less you feel the downforce.

Tested the BMW LMR - thats great to drive. Have tested 13 cars now - 4 to go. Some interesting results will post altogether when complete. Managed 260mph with '04 Pescarolo!
