Load game before obtaining pre-order bonus code?

Whilst on the topic of pre order content I must ask is it possible to redeem without internet connection? Sadly my broadband is down and I don't think it will be back up until the start of next week (painfully) but would like to know if I'm waiting even more for my content. Thanks

Redeem yes, DL no. Was the same with the GT6 theme. Has to be DLd through store on that device.

Only exception is vita cause it can connect to console.

Sorry bout that. Unless you could steal a wifi hotspot and friends for the 1.2gb update. Would be good to have the update for rally events or unlocking online and such but if you have no broadband, your not missing online, well you are but every cloud and all.......

It's fine thanks for the sympathy, just makes me laugh how the one time I desperately need my WiFi and it's died on me. Should only be 5 day's tops until it's sorted. I'll appreciate v1.00 for a while. Hope v1.01 adds some extra content because that would be good haha (crys inside)

Least your better off than i was with another game that killed my disc reader last year which took me a few weeks to get a replacement

Now I can be thankful for that atleast it will read the disc "touches wood" that must of been torture for a while, you have to socialise when thay happens and noone wants that

I wanted to start the game fresh and use the bonus content once I'm further in the game.
Having the Stealth and Chromeline cars in GT5 made the beginning too easy.

Yes, just don't download after code accepted. You could just not use them once DLd

"Just not using them" doesn't really work, because you also get a huge credit boost and I couldn't resist to use one of the cars.

Ah the 1mill, forgot that. Well on GT5, you had to activate in game. Someone may confirm that for GT6. As long as the code is accepted, it will be in your PSN DL list.

I've tried to redeem the anniversary edition code yesterday (which was when I received the game) an it didn't work, I get a message saying that the code is invalid or already used...should I wait till tomorrow and try again?
