Seems there's some gameshark codes involved:
TAFKAH
Nordschleife kommst du ohne Action Replay und "Mega Turbo Code" nicht raus. Und selbst das ist ein reines Glücksspiel. Das interessante an der Geschichte mit diesem Code ist, das man weder Fotos machen noch das Replay speichern kann.
Jetzt kommt der Clou. Nimm ein Replay deiner wahl und schau es dir an. Wende den Code In dem Replay an und schon ist es möglich Bilder zu schießen.Allerdings hat die sache einen Haken. Du kannst nicht lenken.Hast also keinen einfluß drauf wo der Wagen hinfährt. Meiner ist "Zufällig" hier durch. Direkt an der Leitplanke an der Wand.

i've used that cheat and i have done the same thing as them, but i did it at test track with other cars and they all went over 1000mph and they all flew of into the unown!!

Yeah, there's lot of things in track backgrounds if you look hard enough, maybe a new thread dedicated to these objects?
 
why would they waste time on these stupid things if you cant see them from the track? its stupid unless they made the games with glitches on perpose wich i dout cus the games the game is caled gran turismo 4 not get the hell off the track and screw around with gliches game...

Well, you can blame that on the person who programmed in the monkey at Trial Mountain.

I guess someone at PD was bored, and so they added it in for the cheaters.

Well i think it's interesting. I always wondered why i get spooked in that hard left turn at the end of the Trail Mountain backstretch. :eek::scared: Now i know...at least on a subconscious level. I used to assume it was the monkey in the tree between turns 6 & 7. Like maybe that monkey would somday jump down or throw feces at my windshield. :(

It's in the big branch that hangs over the track between the first and second tunnels. Look carefully at the large black shape..it's like a chimpanzee waiting to jump on us! :scared:
 
Haha, I never noticed that. And I also never noticed anyone reply to this thread that was brought back from the depths of GTP. I think I'll go look for it while I'm tuning my Suzuki GSX-R/4.
