this happens to everyone right? its so weird because im 90% positive it just started, i get 10 paint items as a login bonus along with the cards...i got matte orange an brown this way just recently.

Yea, it never said anything about the paints before v1.06 only the museum cards, but you did still receive both paints and museum cards ever since GT5 existed.

I honestly didn't even know until about a month before the 1.06 update that I was getting paint pots too. PD did not convey that message every well to us North Americans. Must of put it on the right side of the road, and were all looking at the left! Sorry, had to.
Yes they've always awarded paint as a log on bonus with the museum cards, but in North America you were only ever notified about the museum cards. And I do believe you are mistaken by the Matte paint being awarded from log on. Most likely you were awarded this for a milestone you acheived be it distance or amount of cars.
well im positive i got matte brown from the login because i always look at the newest 10 paints after my login bonus an it was part of that group. i forget about orange but i haven't gotten any reward paint messages
