Are you sure? I'm pretty sure the login bonus doesn't work exactly the same as the paint chip rewards. I know I've gotten 9 chips and a 200% bonus many times; so it wasn't consecutive logins.

Best thing is to log in at around 23:55, stay on for 5 minutes, get the login bonus then you can skip the whole day since you've already logged in twice in 2 days in a 5 min span.
I read if you back up your save when you reach 200%, you could just re-load it days or weeks later and still keep the 200%. I haven't tried this myself yet but it's worth a try.
I've had my game for almost a month now, and I have logged in for consecutive days, and I still have my 200% login bonus, and 10 paint and museum cards coming to me every day I log in consecutively.

Correct. Because when you don't log in to GT5 for a week but had 200% before you stopped, your save is still unmodified since last time you loaded it. No matter if you export than re-import it. Your log in bonuses are managed via the servers only.
I got so screwed on this bonus stuff. If I don't log in every day I get that I will revive less. However for some reason it keeps saying my time is 1hr behind as the correct time and as much as I try to change it and even say set by Internet it still goes back 1hr. Now I'll log in and get low bonus and come back the next day and still get low bonus. I don't know why really but worst is the times I am usually on are around 11am but since it says 1hr behind I never get the two bonus for going into the next day unless I play really long. It's annoying but I don't really need the bonus stuff so it's fine I guess.

Try turning on/off daylight savings in the settings of the PS3. As far as I know, that still gives you +/- an hour even if you use the internet to sync your time.

If you're at 9 days consecutive, you'll need to log in the next day to move it up to 10 days, 200% and 10 cards/paints. At that point you can miss a day - which moves you down to 9 days, 200% and 9 cards/paints - but you'll need to then log in the next day again.
However, there's a get-out. The game only pays attention to midnight passing on the system's clock. Log in, get your bonus, log out and set your timezone to anything where it's not quite midnight yet. Wait for midnight to pass, log in, get your bonus, rinse, lather repeat.
And yes it does work. I often don't get chance to log in for three or more days and this pops it right back up to 200% again.
