Logitech G Pro Racing Wheel

I have the Same Pedals and Wheel base and for me it worked out to Play around with the angle of my Seat which is more showing forwards than extreme Backwards
Yeah I found the same. Less leaning back works for me too. Aim for the seating position of a GT car.

Does anyone know if there is a release notes page for firmware updates for the wheel? Mine is connected full time to the PS5 and it’s a pain to relocate to connect to my PC to check if I need a update applied.

Assuming you updated in the last year then you’re good. There hasn’t been an update since the 106 release that enabled support for the RS Wheel Hub, Shifter & Handbrake and the QR Adapter. There will be a new firmware update this year, but you’ll see people talking about it on here and I’ll let people know as well.

it's been a while (a few months), but is the GHUB problems breaking rf2 FFB have been solved already?

You recommended me to downgrade the GHUB back then.

@LOGI_Rich It's been a few days since I've had an issue with my steering wheel; it disconnects and restarts the wheel, and I have to turn it off and on again. Before, it was an occasional problem, but now I simply can't complete a single lap on any circuit. It happens in GT7 and also in AC. Anyone with a similar problem, or better yet, with a solution to my problem?

These symptoms can often be a sign of ground loop issues. What's the details of your setup? Rig/Desk? TV/Monitor? PSVR2?

Also, when the disconnect happens, what is happening with the OLED screen? Normal display or stuck on three dot animation?

PS5 PRO / Rig / PSVR2

A message appears saying the controller has been disconnected. On the OLED, the animation that plays when the steering wheel is turned on appears, but it doesn't complete the cycle, so I have to turn it off with the red button and restart the base.
The problem always occurs in the middle of a curve, when the steering wheel's resistance is higher. I use the base with the settings recommended on Logitech's website.

Definitely sounding like ground loop issues! Okay, here's a test for you: disconnect the HDMI from the PS5 and run only on PSVR2 (obviously, only on GT7) - does the same issue occur then?

HDMI disconnect / LAN cable disconnect - same problem

It's not dust causing this - 100% certain of that. The fact that it's occurring at larger torque outputs does suggest a power issue (which could also be ground loop-related) but depending on your home setup this could be problematic to solve if it is being caused by the home wiring setup.

Is the power supply isolated on its own power socket? Is there anything else running in the household at the time that has a large power draw?

But it was working perfectly until about 10 days ago. Nothing has changed in my house. It's plugged into a socket just for it.

It's all good - just trying to make sure that if you get a replacement that you don't end up with the same issues. I'm still not certain that this won't be the case, because the symptoms do match a couple of situations that I've seen in the past which were due to the home setup and not the wheel (the wheel worked fine elsewhere).

Assuming you've tried swapping USB cables as well... then you have two paths from here.
  1. Test the wheel in a different location (yes, I know how difficult this could be) in order to confirm if the issue is with the wheel or not.
  2. Get in touch with support to arrange an exchange and hope that it definitely is an issue with the wheel.

@LOGI_Rich

IT’S WORKING NOW!

But the solution was different from what you suggested.

I was testing the steering wheel in various outlets around my house as you suggested (I know you suggested taking it TO ANOTHER HOUSE). During these tests, between one disconnection and another, I noticed that the steering wheel’s angle setting was different from my usual 1080 setting; sometimes it was at 900, and most of the time it was at 540.

So, I thought it might be an issue related to the wheel’s calibration. In G HUB, there’s only the option to center it, which I had tried before and it didn’t work.

What worked: with the wheel turned off, I turned it all the way to the left, as far as it would go, then turned it on and waited for it to center slowly. That was it! It works now!

@LOGI_Rich i was looking to purchase the RS hub for my PS and noticed the avaioptions were PC and PC/XBOX. I tried to get help and Jelly said it wasn't compatible with PS. See attachment.

They are both compatible with the PS base. I picked up the Xbox version in the chance I ever buy an Xbox. Having a wheel compatible with both platforms will also help with resale.

Thank you @Dragonwhisky

This morning, my desktop PC was updated to the latest version of the Logitech G Hub.

It seems that the firmware is related to our pedals.

Big lazy, my equipment is mounted on my rig, very far from the first PC available.

For those who did, do you think it is necessary to connect the base and the pedals to make the update?

@NicoGmbh You just need to connect the pedals to get the firmware update.

As for what's in it, minor fixes for edge cases... and something else that will be more important for some people later this year.

@GT7VR all good, but do note that if you're on anything less than version 133.6.106 and want to get any of the newer peripherals for the system then you will need to update firmware at that time. There may also come a time that updates to the Trueforce SDK incorporated by games developers might need the newer firmware as well.

Ya' big tease.

And here I am with nothing but a credit card. 😜

Will the pedal firmware get updated plugged in to Pro base when the base is plugged into pc with ghub installed?
