@Tommy moon Let's see if things have any change with the new firmware that's part of the new G HUB release coming out this month. I'd also really like to know if the same thing happens in other titles.

Got some accessories for the RS hub. New paddle shifters from SimPush on AliExpress. Didn’t realized they delivered today until I checked the tracking. I’ll be testing them more in depth tomorrow. But they extend much further out than the ones included from Logitech and seem like they’ll fit me better ergonomically too. Not sure if the price of these will drop any lower for the 11/11 sale. They’re about 16 bucks per set (of 2). Photos show only one installed so you can see the physical differences between them.

I have been using the mono 320 wheel with the standard paddles and it is a bit of a reach. These look perfect thanks!

Are these the ones that say they are made for the g pro? I can’t find any that say RS hub.

Had a chance to do a session with the Momo wheel with the SimPush paddle shifters. It feels a lot better running with the paddles; I don’t feel like I’m reaching for them anymore. Initially when I test fit it (not actually driving) I felt the paddles might get in the way if I was using the stick shift, but that turned out not to be the case. Definitely happy with that setup. I’m going to give it a go with a GT-style rim (also 320mm) tomorrow evening.

No I understand that. This is different. I'm well aware of the oscillation issues. It always and only originates from the same point, it's not truforce but rather the heavy FFB forces.

It only occurs when turning too my right and the more, weight/downforce etc the more likely/dramatic. Especially turns where you have to chuck it in a bit...meaning the wheel input is quick...rather than a sweeping corner.

Anyways the wheel seemingly lag, and then a huge burst of feedback...it always feels like it's coming from my lower left side and rocks the whole wheel upwards and to the side... diagonally I guess.

I mean it feels like the wheel has come loose from the mounting when it happens... especially with the upwards force...it's dramatic...if you'd felt it before you'd know exactly what I'm describing.

Im actually surprised less people are experiencing this....makes me think it's the base all the more
Are you using the og D wheel?

This sounds exactly what happened to me when the left underscrew snapped. It felt like the wheel was giving out at certain turning points.

You can test this by taking wheel off and flexing it on that side and see if you have give. Unfortunately that screw us unaccessible from what I found. I've since switched to the rhub and replace the screws every so often so it doesn't happen again.

I will definitely let you know LOL

Yes I'm using the original stuff I've wondered if the new hub would alleviate this.

Just a few bug fixes. Any of you who’ve had Trueforce stop working during a race should benefit. Support for the new shifter has been in there for a while already.
If this new shifter is a G-Pro class h-gate, how would one go about ensuring they get one? ;)

It’ll be available in all the usual places once it launches 🙂
LMAO

That response just begs the question, how does one become one of the usual places it'll be available? 😂

I'll show myself out.

This feels like it could turn out similarly to the 'Who's on first" routine and I'm Lou.

@LOGI_Rich Can you say something about compatibility for the G Pro and the upcoming Steam Machine or SteamOS in general?

Is Trueforce supported by Assetto Corsa Rally and Project Motor Racing (PC and PS5)
Thanks a lot.

Guys, if you need/want a Logitech RS shifter, Amazon has got a good deal at the moment, 50% discount! They are selling it for EUR 79.

I want to buy the RS pedals and the adapter for the old g29 wheel base in Europe. Any way do get some discount? I seem to remember we could get the adapter for half price, but now it's full price.

Any help?

@LOGI_Rich I saw this RS shifter setup on YouTube. It’s recorder during a Logi Play event. Seems like a very nice way to mount the RS shifter to the Trophy seat. Do you perhaps know how they did that, what screws they have used?

Yep, we always make a point of saying that the table clamp isn't just useful for tables 😊

Another example where Will Ford used it in his review for rig mounting:

They're just M6 bolts. If you're doing what Will did then you sandwich the plate from the Playseat mount with the bolt, bolting up through into the shifter that's on the top mount. You just have to respect the encroachment rules, as laid out on the inside lid of the packaging or the online manual - they can't go further than 20mm into the body of the shifter.

Great! Many thanks for your fast reply! I will post the final result once I have received my RS shifter, can’t wait 😁

How is the flex on that Momo Sim GT 320 round wheel? I heard it's pretty bad, especially for the price. Did they improve it and make it more rigid?

I want a large round wheel for Rally and im wondering if the Simpush wheel would be better, the logitech round wheel is too small in my opinion.

There is also the 330mm from rogueracingdesigns but im not sure if it's better quality and more rigid than momo and simpush.

@LOGI_Rich,

So I fired up my stuff today...haven't changed a thing...but getting no input from my pedals to the base.

Nothing in game, nothing on wheel base, and no option on wheel base for brake force.

I mean it's just been plugged into my PS5...so I don't think it could be a firmware thing.

Everything is hard mounted...so I doubt the connection to the pedals is loose. I've tried different USB on the wheel, power cycled and still nothing.

Faulty cable?

PC sees them in ghub...but says inactive....what does this mean?

There is flex in the upper half of the Momo rim. I don’t really feel it much in practice; I wouldn’t have known it was there if someone didn’t tell me it was there. I’m rarely pushing on the wheel at that location.

If you don’t mind the smaller size, the Logitech round rim is excellent, but smaller. No flex with that one anywhere and it is ergonomically sound.

The ergonomics of the SimPush 330mm rim was off for me. It didn’t feel like steering wheel when I was gripping it in VR. Nothing felt right about it. Personally can’t recommend it.

I’m currently waiting on a 330mm wheel to get made for me from RogueRacing. I’m hoping it gets here soon. I ordered it in late October.

I should note I don’t really drift, so the wheels application to that I really can’t comment on.

The base doesn’t read any pedal inputs too? Confirm the base in PS mode as well. Though the weirdness from the GHub is odd.

Yeah the two entries showing in G HUB is odd. There's a note at the bottom to restart G HUB to update it, so it's worth doing that to see if that clears up that issue. But this could be a faulty USB cable maybe - if you borrow the one from the wheel base, do the pedals show up correctly on the PC when using that cable?

I've tried that and two other cables on a better laptop after updating GHub.

Same thing...keeps connecting and cutting out over and over again.

Ghub sees it...but says inactive like before

And you've checked all of the pedal module connections into the "brain" on the underside of the pedals? Disconnected each module in turn to see if it has any effect?

If so and it makes no difference, then this may well be a fault in the pedals...
