Logitech G27 for $150...direct from Logitech

Just put an order for the G27 with the 50% off coupon I got in an email, to good to pass up. Came out to $163 free shipping 13 dollar tax. Says out of stock but at 149 who cares I will wait. Just got the ps3 HKS controller 2 weeks ago that will keep me busy.

How do you like the HKS contoller?
 
Sorry out of topic but anwering question.

I love the HKS controller it's all I use now. There is a trick to it though what you do is put R2 L2 for gas and brake, GT5 settings. Then switch the controller itself to Need For Speed mode. You will get more play in the botton. Using the whole botton for gas, the controlls pressure gauge will be synced better with what it's showing on the GT5 screen.
 
Well, it extremely easy to register a product with Logitech, even if you don't actually own it. I registered both of my Logitech webcams a few minutes ago and immediately received two 20% coupon codes for my next Logitech purchase. I suppose over time you will get better offers from Logitech but I'm not sure how long it will take to get a 50% off coupon.

Either way the wait is on. :)
 
All these sales, I get the feeling we will be hearing about a new G series wheel soon. $150 is a steal though.

1st post but lurked around for a while and since i got a lot from here i figured i'd help out a bit :)
I just got an email back from Logitech, the expected time that the G27 wheels will be back in stock and shipping is September 22nd, in case you were curious. I did the same as you and placed the order even though they were out of stock. If you were curious i hope this helps you out or anyone else in the same boat as us.



UPDATE: Just got a shipping confirmation for today. so i guess it depends on when your order went in but you may be getting it sooner than i was originally told for my order.

from all the coupon codes i saw the promo expired 9/14. lowest i saw without the code for a brand new one was around $225, i forget if it was ebay or amazon. if you're looking for one $150 or under (again from what i've seen only) you'd end up with a used one, not sure if you care or not (also assuming you are against downgrading to the Driving Force GT which retails for $150 regularly).

Thanks for the info, optimally I was looking for one in the $150-$200 range. If I do buy a used one, would the force feedback be significantly weaker?
 
Just got my G27 that I paid 163 for brand new from logitech. It's awsome purchased it on sept 10 it was out of stock got it sept 19. I will not be sleeping tonight.
 
Congrats and enjoy the crap out of the wheel. I know I did when mine first came in. And ParkourVeyron, you should take a look on amazon. I got my g27 from a seller brand new for under $240 shipped.

I said in the $150-$200 range, not $200-$250. Anyway, does anybody know if the newegg $200 deals are still going on?
