Hi there, I am looking for a Ford Cosworth, either a Escort Coswoth or a Sierra Cosworth. Will trade it for either a Ferrari Enzo, Mclaren Mercedes SLR, Ford GT Le Mans Spec II or a Ferrari 430 Scuderia.

Dude they dont exsist within the game, there are no sierras at all and the only escort is the rally car, sahme though, would love to see a sierra in there

The RS200 Road Car and the RS200 Rally Car are Cosworth engine's too Im fairly sure. They are also both beastly cars, better then the 1999 Escort Rally for sure.

Either way Im pretty sure that hes looking for an older 80's cosworth not the 1999 Rally Car.

Cosworth isnt the make of the engine, cosworth are a tuning company they tune engins and the engine your all on about is the ford pinto engine it has many quises EI BDT/BDG to name 2 versions i cant remember wich but one was timing belt and the other a timming chain was the main way to tell them apart, they came if memory was right fron the MK II escort rally cars and evolved into the seira with 2 version the Cosworth RS500 that was a 1.6 ltr engine then the famous 2 ltr cosworth came. The 1999 ford rally car had a highly modified 2 ltr turbo zetec engine that was commom at the time in the mondeo [no turbo though] The RS200 was a BDT engine and that was tuned by cosworth.

Now as has been stated there are NO ford Cosworth escorts/focus's or siera's in GT5.

Yes I know they arent an engine manufacturer but they do build engines like I said based off of an already existing engine as opposed to machining their own engine blocks and such. (like you thought i meant) and thanks for clearing that up, so the rs200's do have cosworth engines but arent escorts or sierras obviously, and the 1999 Escort Rally car doesnt have a cosworth?

Too bad the Escort is a 1998, and the Escort Cosworth competed in the WRC until 1998. Therefore, the Escort Rally car is a Cosworth.

With that being said.....the only Cosworth Escort/Sierra in the game is the Ford Escort Rally Car '98.

He is probably talking about the 1999 Focus Rally car and got them mixed up.

Either way, the RS200 is probably the closest in the game to what he probably wants (80s cosworth i think)

it was made for rallying so only sold 500 to the general public most of which were collectors or museums

You can easily convert the regular 2 litre cosworth engine to a rs500 one, in real life that would be.
