you are too vauge. the purpose of gearing is so that you are not stuck with a engine that can only turn the wheels at one spped. now i have a question for you. what does a venturi do?

i have nothing against FWD not used for drag racing. i do not like imports tho. i am a fan of good ole american muscle. i love the smell of fuel and the torque of a v8. i love a loud engine and a deep rumble. i hate engines controlled by computers. i like real mechanics in action. i hate cars with too much finesse. cars made in the last 20 years look like they should be driven by women IMO. with the exception of a few svt mustangs and ram air trans ams. thats why i went with the blazer. cheap rear drive, fits a v8 easy and is masculane. not some little **** can that would rumble in a wreck or not stand up to the torque put out by a big engine when the secondaries crack open on a holley four barrel.Originally posted by Thio
What do you have against front drives Tony Sport?

The same basic premise a pulley works on. . . Ok then that is what I was putting together but could not come up with the word leverage.Originally posted by ///M-Spec
Actually, gearing is just leverage. A 5' crowbar has a certain amount of leverage. A 10' crowbar has more... gearing is the same thing.
