Looking for a song?Music

Okay, all I know are a few of the lyrics.

"the kids of tomorrow don't need today, when the live in the sins of yesterday"

Thats all I can remember, I hope one of you can help me.

Well I'm just bored with my collection of songs and I want to listen to something really different. But theres a catch. I'm looking for something that is not only different, but something independent as well (you know, not well known to everyone and have very few airplays. Just the opposite of mainstream to be precise)

  • I'm looking for some techno/trance/electronica music. Something like Royksopp, The Chemical Brothers or BT. I don't want some stupid 🤬 shuffling music I keep hearing from. It is something a little "soothing" and more "mature" if you know what I mean.......
  • Maybe am looking for some Indie J-Rock songs as well. I don't really know who to use for example, but something like The Pillows, or even Envy. I don't really like listening to L'Arc~en~Ciel or even Malice Mizer type of songs, but meh, something interesting at least.....
  • Some indie prog band that I never heard of (like thats gonna be easy....) Something like Mew, Arcade Fire or Death Cab For Cutie.....
  • Looking for experimental bands similar to The Fall Of Troy. (my friend says Alesana is similar, but they sound like crap! :yuck:)

Not so much a song, more a piece of music...

Found this in the 'Youtube your hometown' thread, instantly caught my attention.

If anyone could tell me what this piece of music is called, it would be much appreciated, its been bugging me for ages:tup:.

Thanks:)

Oh oh!! I know this!!

Its "Requiem of a Tower" by Corner Stone Cues

You may also remember it from it being featured in Topgear's Polar Special. (2:22 till about 2:35 but they use it more than once)

That should be the answer to your question.

I dont know if you got the same result but I have always believed that song to be Lux Aeterna by Clint Mansell.

I think it has been covered by several people. But as Tom Servo said it did originally appear in Requiem for a Dream OST.

I am looking for some songs,

Last time when I was in the US, I heard some Nursery Rhymes that had this Hip Hop / R&B rhythm to it. I found it amusing..

So can anyone tell me of any good HipHop / RnB songs with Nursery Rhymes sort of theme on it? I know lots of famous artists have done this, but I dont know who or in what album.. Can anybody help?

:P thanks..

I'm not looking for a song, but I am looking quite hard for the piano sheet music to Moon Over the Castle.

If you have ever heard the GT2 version of moon over the castle then you'll know why I want the sheet music so bad. I have found that there are two different names the song can have. One is of course Moon Over the Castle, and the other is T-Square - Knight's Song.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Could you possible be talking about Jibbs - Chain hang low.

Before you ask why I know that song, I had to search for it, and people in my school listen to that garbage so I knew the chorus.

there is a song i heard a while ago that featured a japanese band doing the james bond theme song.

in the beginning it had a couple of japanese guys playing the japanese guitar with those comb picks that they have and it stays that way until they reach the trumpet parts then they zoom out and show the trumpeteers and the japanese guitarists playing together.

A bit of a longshot but, the song is from the Mercedes C-Class advertisement in Australia. It regularly goes on at around 9:45PM on the channel SBS (In between the news). I got a few lyrics from it, "How I love you" is the main line which is said right at the end of the ad.

I've got a small recording of the song, it is most prominent at the end of the recording.
It can be downloaded here. recording10.mp3 - 0.26MB

I somehow stumbled on the song by (addictively :P) watching too much Top Gear again. The song is Unkle - Burn My Shadows.

I'm looking more for songs that are similar to the ones I've posted below, or at least what specific genre they are so I can search for them myself.
