im not saying you, or anyone else has to call it a ds3 or whatever, i am just saying that most people probably prefer to type ds3 (3 characters) over controller (10 characters), lazy as that may be

Why people say DS3 instead of simply CONTROLLER. There are more PS3 controllers besides the DS3. I use for example a Sixaxis, which is lighter and without the annoying rumble.

Which controller is doesn't really make a difference. Most of them are DS3s. And like somone else said, why type controller when you can type DS3 and EVERYONE understands what you're talking about?. And...not really impressed that it's a lighter no rumble SIXAXIS. My "DS3" functions in 6 axis as well.

I personally typed DS3 because it was easier then saying I use the Fusion PowerA controller. I use it because the triggers are actual triggers and the thumb sticks are indented so my thumbs are steady on them. The fact that the sticks are situated like the xbox 360 controller are a plus. Wish I could use the PS4 one though

What is the limit of visible lines visible when doing a TT? In other words, if from here 10 people have posted a time in a specific TT, would the lines of those 10 friends be visible altogether when I'm attempting a time or only the fastest time among those will be visible?

I noticed on the seasonals you use SRF and TC, have you tried turning these off?

It will make you a better driver in the long run and i think you'll enjoy it more.

Yes but you can see all friends in the leaderboards.

On a separate account I have noticed that the blue lines showing as I do the event are those which seem to be the nearest dozen or so both above and below the time at which you are currently travelling at as you do the event.

I am going to use an unused account to run this again as my primary already has dozens of friends added and I don't want to flood it anymore.

I won't be doing the seasonals for another 4 days to build up to the 200% login bonus but I will be going through the career, already finished novice and National B license test. I run pretty reasonable times using DS3.
