Fullsize: Lotus Exige
Also theres a full article on it over at this site: http://www.sandsmuseum.com/cars/elise/experience/competition/sportexige/sportexige.html
The Car has been made for serious business lol:D
Actually there is alot of nice Lotus's around now, Lotus is probably my Favorite European Auto Manufacturer.👍
Best Motoring did a piece on an Exige with a Toyota 1800 in it, the car performed quite well in a Touge test! As to be expected. In my opinion, I think that weight is the most important factor in performance.;)

Quick question:
How do you guys know if the Exige will be faster than the Evora?

Evora - 0-60 mph 4.9 seconds - 0-100 mph 12.9 seconds
Top speed - 160 mph

Exige Sports - 0-60 3.9 seconds - 0-100 9.8 seconds
Top speed - 160 mph

I could write the full spec of both cars, but this answers your question.

Edited to show 0-100 times for both cars.

->I thought writing on paper didn't matter? Isn't that what you said before? <-(sarcasm in-closed by arrows) He's right though the specs for the Evora are slower than the Exige.

What I said before was that it was the cars performance on the track that counts (as Stig once said "statistics on paper are one thing, the performance of the car on the track is another"). I was merely agreeing with Stigs quote. Seeing as Stig is by far the better driver than the both of us put together, and he's knowledge of cars far out-reaches ours, then were not really in a position to question what he has to say. :)👍

👍 Hence the sarcasm bit. ;) But I think you understood what I meant, just wanted to make sure.

I wondered what happened to that new intro from the update. Would've been cool to have been able to keep it.

I've had it come up more than once since I've updated....

...oddly, no Esprit :( The Esprit was so angular and wedged in its shape.

I'm fairly certain Lotus would be happy about that, as the Evora is not the Esprit replacement (that is due in 2011 - source - Evo).

Regards

Scaff

Rubbish, the stig doesn't speak. Didn't anyone read his GT-R review?

"................... ..............."

Epic...

Nah, he has spoken before. Now he does not speak very often but he has spoken, and done a few interviews and the like.

Your a funny guy ;)

I bet you didn't know this, but when Stig is in the top gear studio, he's mouth moves, but someone else does the voice-over for him.

I've never even witnessed a bit of the stig speaking. Course I'm in the US so I don't get to watch a lot of TG :(
