Lower HP after rebuild

I have a RM ZR1 Corvette that had 905HP after break in and oil change. After several races and an engine rebuild, break in time, and oil change it only has 888hp. Is that normal? Thanks!

About 725 miles if I remember correctly. The reason I ask is I kind of want to figure out if it is better to just buy a new one rather than rebuild the engine and tighten the chassis.

You may aswell buy a new one as they aren't much money and the money can be made very quickly with the seasonals.

Check to see if any of the exhaust, intake or computer is uninstalled. At 725 mile that car should not normally lose horsepower.

Mine has 1190 miles and is still rated at 905. No rebuilds as of yet.

Permanent engine wear doesn't start occurring until about 13,000 miles or thereabouts.

I have rebuilt the motor in my RM ZR1 a couple of times and it always goes back to 905HP
