Took me a while but i managed all of the nascar events, easy if you have a driving force and can turn the asm of from the wheel, actually did this before i realised you could turn the asm off. But it makes you so much faster, turning the asm (or abs for you pad users) off helped alot with the nascar event on a spec.

So when you win the stock car can you actually buy any tune up parts for it? or are you stuck with it the way it is?

On principle I refuse to spend any of my credits on a stock car, and since I didn't pre-order this event seems like the only way I'm going to get one. ;)

The car can't be tuned, only thing is that you can buy for it is the tires.

I actually got it for free as gift, for driving 1000KM I believe. 👍

go to the race, right before the race you go to settings (where you normally can choose your tires etc.) and turn off the ABS, when the ABS is off the ASM won't work as well and you'll win easily.

Worked for me, I got gold on every nascar event.

I beat this on the first try, you must can't drive if you have not beat it. The last race on daytona the cars like intentionally crashed me, so I just drove backwards and like head on collisioned the first place car in anger LMAO. Even if i had quit the race I still would have had enough points to win.

Wow, that was frustrating. Once I turned abs off (I have a controller), it almost became easy, too easy. I was ramming the first place guy before the first lap was done. Finally:yuck:

just draft behind Jimmie Johnson (48) when turning use a gentle motion on the joystick, i'm a NASCAR pro, so this comes easy to me... sadly, drifting is something i'm horriable at

i got it all gold. All you have to do is just turn the ABS OFF. you guys will thank me for this. Trust me.

I found this series really fun except for the last race. I was busy doing my thing slipstreaming, and then out of nowhere BAM! I'm doing 360's in mid air bouncing off everything. Somehow i get taken out and then fall so far behind i can't slipstream to catch up again haha.

It was amusing because i had enough points to win the championship regardless. :sly:

I can't win the one with the pit stop. Any tips?

When you pull of the pits jam on it and go straight to the track to have the #99 car rear end you to gain speed. The just draft to victory, be mindful to check your rear view when you get the lead to make sure you don't get passed

I had set my transmission to max out at 199 at Grand Valley and forgot to return it to its default settings for Daytona. I quit the race and luckily still won the championship. Have been trying to win the final race at Daytona as a single event, it is the hardest race I've been in yet. It is tough to run 10 laps without getting spun or falling too far behind the draft

In the Extreme Events Nascar Series (A-spec) it was easy for me to get gold in all races but Daytona, where I would get last place every freakin' time (multiple tries). After reading a few threads here, turning off ABS is key!

I used minimum downforce front and rear, Tranny @ 370 top speed, Suspension at minimum front and rear, Tires Racing Soft front and rear, Active steering Mild, ABS OFF!

Won by .082 (using standard controller) on the first try by sticking to the left way low in the corners and left still on the str8s, waiting for the bump from behind.

So much easier this way, lol...now to try B-spec again where my previous best was 11th...

On the subject off the nascar events.

Im having a frustrating time trying to gold Daytona cone Challenges, I done the Indianapolis ones but am 0.52 seconds off Gold in the Daytona one :ouch:

i don't want to pass asmany as i can i want to win and tbh its seems impossible

At the start, stick as close as you can to the car on your right, and all the way round the first bend. They'll pull away but you'll catch up prett quick due to the slipstream of the whole pack, ALWAYS go for the inside line and never brake! This is how i golded it on my 3rd try :D GOOD LUCK!

OK, just golded the 2 lap battle on Indianapolis with DS3.... At first i was breaking when coming into the corners, WRONG! As soon as the gear turns red, 3 gear, let go of the throttle and break very slightly, turn smoothly (inside of the drivers) and find the draft and do this on every corner. Trick is to never really break, but just let go of throttle when the gear starts to blink to 3 gear.

I took all of the opponent driver on the inside every time and keept a tight line all the way through and beat them convincingly.

Glad I'm through with this one 👍 Now I'm off to Daytona (just golded that one too in my 2nd try, same action should be taken on this one + a great deal of blocking so they don't get ahead of you).

I'm done with Nascar!!!!!!!!!! All gold in all Nascar events :D

Turning off ABS helps because it will kick in anytime you are skidding. When you're skidding around the turns, ABS will slow you down.

Never occured to me to turn off ABS since at no point did my foot come near the brake pedal. With ABS off I felt like Superman, flying to the front in less than a lap.

Havin' the same problem here - sadly I'm not able to turn ABS to 0 or ASM off (anymore?) - seems they have "fixed" this... :(

The unfair part is that the NPC don't seem to be slowed down by this driving "aid"!
