MS will not be driving a Ferrari in 2007. Not with Kimi on the market. I also don't see him driving on the same team with a driver the same level (or better) than him. So it's Toyota or Red Bull for MS in 2007, I can't see him retiring...especially when he spanks the field and wins the title easily in '06.

Think about this though. Toyota has a TON of $$$. I'm sure the Toyota board wanted "Schumacher" driving their F1 car. Little did they know there are two....so they got the "other" one...why not just get both?

Red Bull is obvious because of it's ties to Ferrari.

Regardless of where MS goes in 2007 I honestly think that will be his final year and he will then return to the Ferrari fold in some sort of team capacity, either with the Scuderia or RBR....

Typical, he no longer has the brilliant car so he doesn't even care anymore. I think that proves that it is the car doing the winning, not Schumacher. If he is such a good driver, he would win a championship in any competitive car be it McLaren, Williams, Renault, Toyota, Red Bull. I always knew he was a fake.

Yes, but now he's stopped being competitive, he's announced he might retire. Basically, if he wins next year, he'll stay; if not, he'll go. He didn't know at the end of 2004 that the F2005 would be a bit of a dog, so now he's giving it one more chance, and if Ferrari improves he'll stay. At least he probably won't make the mistake that Damon Hill did and Villeneuve has done, by staying long past his peak and ending his career on a low.

Personally I think this seaseon will be his last anyway.

Agreed. Consider, he got Ferrari up to third in the championship, despite the fact that there were a whole bunch of cars that were definitely faster than the Ferrari. It's a testament to Michael's determination. Hello, where were Toyota and Honda? Granted, Honda had a short season, but they had a good car, too.

I am pretty much what you'd call an anti-fan of Michael Schumacher, I actually hate him. Not personally, cause I know don't know him that way, but the german tv, the press and the fact that I'm supposed to like him because I'm german have made me think opposite.

This very fact emphasises my following statement even more: it is ridiculous to say that MS is not a good driver. If you watch his history in Formula 1 and the things he has archieved, along with the great driving skills he can access when- and whereever he wants, he is a truly great driver.

Now, it's okay for you to not like somebody, but you should still be able to give credit to that person for its skills.
