it handels like a short wheel based car with alot of lowend toqure due to the v8, and its also very light, compair it to a stock stratos with insain hp, its also great at drifting AND grip driving, it will spin easlyly but you can hit revrse and have it going straight in no time!
what the hell r u talking about, that is a 1966 gt40 with a v12 and 5-speed. not a muscle car?Originally posted by Mephis
thats not a muscle car, thats a sports car. I took a v6 pos and made it into a monster, thats a muscle car, dont use anything post 1985.
you edited, I am working on a v8 corvett gs. the body is muscle carish. been having some lag trouble though. do you know what causes the horrible lag in the 1-3000rpm in engines with over 1500hp?Originally posted by Mephis
V-12 thats a wussie motor, v8 is for a man only little wemon drive v12'! get your self a v8 wussie unless you cant handel it.
Its still has muscle car properties, goes fast in a straight line, sucks on corners.Originally posted by Mephis
no what you did was take a muscle car and made it a sport car. a v12 isnt a muscle car engine, only a v8, in some very very very freak cases a Inline 6 is a muscle motor but its not a v8.
did you see the thread of the car im gonna restore? go to the video and pic thread in automotive then find "my duster"Originally posted by 69Dodge_Charger
I kind of agree, a GT40 isn't really a muscle car, it leans more towards sportage, but if it didn't look so sleak and everything it could be a muscle car. If you want a real muscle car go for 69Dodge Charger with a 426 hemi man!![]()

big blocks and 4 cylinders have each there pros and cons, the 4 cylinder has a solid block so its able to with stand more heat, meaning higher speeds, where the good old big block is mainly set up to get you off the line get you away from where you were, and still manage to gain speed.

the hemi its self is over rated, the Hemi 426 in underrated, but the ford hemi 429 is unheard of, and itll whoop any 426 in a heart beat! and yes ford did have a hemi, and the reason the spark plugs go through the valve covers is cause, they have dual rocker arms because of the hemisphercial head design its like a half of a ball in the heads.
