Theres some great new content to look forward to , kinda wonder why they are making the Endurance Races Missions though and not Events ?

While I'm not fussed really as long as they're in the game, and that's some fun content to look forward to for sure, it is strange how they've utilised championships so far as well, they're all so inconsequential and from the current layout of the game appear to be all there will be.

I'd like to see a WEC styled endurance championship in the future hopefully.

Until I see evidence to the contrary, I will assume that this only is relevant for cars you have bought yourself and not prize cars.

Its the stupid game economy that pushes people do such tricks because some people in here has life outside the game. And no its not cheating at all because its just a script that literally wallrides for you in Blue Moon. This is like calling b SPEC is cheating because it drives for you.

Hope the endurance race credits are proportional to the duration. If looks like being able to get ~150k (plus bonus) from a 20 min World Circuit event as suggested, winning an hour-long race should be paying out at least 500k.

That would be a dream of mine to have a full on WEC Championship
 
Did I get it right or does that mean also 60k for the Fisherman‘s Ranch race again and also the double for all other races?

Remember, this is just server mx, not an update like 1.08. Really hoping it doesn't last much longer.
 
I'm guessing everyone will get 1 million cr. after the server maintenance, and next Friday we''ll get the fat update. I'm surprised PD actually listened lol
 
Just sat down to play after mucking around with decals on Inkscape and got booted...

Good things coming but it's ****ing Friday night here, hopefully this isn't for 48 hours again.
 
I really hate that we don't have any offline options with our garage. This server mx downtime would be a great time to go through our cars, upgrade them, customize them, just stare at them in admiration.

People will be quick to praise PD, but this is basically the minimum of what the game should've been from the start. In my eyes, PD is back to "zero" and still have not gained any brownie points back. It took the combined effort of the whole GT community, scathing GTPlanet news articles, prominent youtubers and an absolute annihilation of the metacritic scores for PD to basically just revert the payouts to what it was before.

And remember the car prices haven't changed, the special roulette only parts haven't changed, always online and the MTX is still there. The basic game design is still so compromised that no matter what they do, it's just a band aid at best.

We know that this is not the Gran Turismo experience you expect and we will be making a goodwill gesture in the form of a non-paid credit pack of 1 million Cr. available to those players who may have been affected

Updates which will come into effect beginning of April:

* Increase rewards in the events in the latter half of the World Circuits by approximately 100% on average.
* Addition of high rewards for clearing the Circuit Experience in all Gold/All Bronze results.
* Increase of rewards in Online Races.
* Include a total of eight new one-hour Endurance Race events to Missions. These will also have higher reward settings.
* Increase the upper limit of non-paid credits in player wallets from 20M Cr. to 100M Cr.
* Increase the quantity of Used and Legend cars on offer at any given time.

some of the longer-term updates :

* Increase the payout value of limited time rewards as we develop as a live service.
* Further World Circuit event additions.
* Addition of Endurance Races to Missions including 24-hour races.
* Ranking battles in Online Time Trials will be made more advantageous with rewards. earned based on achieving a time that is within +1%, +2%, +3%, and +5% of top time.
* Make it so cars can be sold.

They can't even revert the payouts this maintenance and have to wait until April, when lowering them was almost immediate.

It also doesn't help people who have already got gold in CE, will they get credits rewarded retroactively? Doubt it. Same with cars that have already been sold.

Lastly, I hope mid race saving returns with the 24H races.

This is actually a worry imo. Why include these Endurance races as missions rather than events? By making them missions, are the rewards only 1 time only?
