Just be patient. If they're still struggling in June/July feel free to complain

Given how scratchy they have been, and the ERA of a couple of the gun pitchers I think 7-10 is a pretty good result. They will want to lift all round though.

Might just be biased but Matt Harvey may be the best pitcher in the NL.

We seem to be slipping back to the 50/50 team that we always are at the moment.

Garrett Richards was so good today. Seven shutout innings only allowing 2 hits. Trout hit a grand slam in the 1st too.

Ass beating. A 19-6 fail by my Astros means another Rubber Game to conclude this CLE at HOU series. That Rubber Game is Sunday afternoon.

Seattle is on a 20 inning scoreless streak. Another beat down by my Rangers today 5-0 after a 7-0 shellacking yesterday. I'm breaking out the broom tomorrow.

The Twins finally got a game in, and they beat the ChiSox 2-1.:)

Starting to think a .500 season may be possible.

First back-to-back loss for the Braves today. I guess they are coming back down to earth.

The baseball gods must hate the Astros. We were just defeated 5-4. Any win just seems like false hope for us. Indians win the series.

I'd really appreciate it if the Tiger's stopped using Victor Martinez as the DH, the guy can't hit at all right now. He needs to go back down to the minors and build his confidence back up before coming back to hit in the 5 spot.

Squeaked out a win today. So far on this road trip we're 2-4, and now heading to SF. If we manage to take the series win there I'll be surprised.

I left the game in the 12th ugh. Then Trumbo hits a walk off.

The Tribe eeeked out a close one in the series against the Astros today. They won this weekends set 2-1. 3rd baseman, Mark Reynolds went yard in the top of the 7th to seal up game 3 for the Tribe in this series. Still on the road, we head up to the Windy City to take on the ChiSox for a 3 game set starting tomorrow. Tribe is now 7-10 and riding 4th place in the A.L. Central.

Reds come off their 5 game losing streak by sweeping the Phillies, then taking 3 of 4 from the Marlins. Got the Cubbies coming into town for a 3 game set. And if the Phillies hold off the Cards for one more inning tonight, the Reds will be back in 1st place. :)

Our next series is against the only team we've beaten so far in a series- the Seattle Mariners. We beat them in Seattle; can we take them down at home? More wins would really help the *rebuilding* Astros...

Wade Miley actually hit a home run tonight.

What a heartbreaker for the Cubs tonight.

I was pretty happy with the outcome. Gotta suck for Cubs fans, though. I was happy to see Wood do well, as he is an ex-Red.

Astros fell 7-1 to Seattle and are stuck on five wins. The woes of a brutal season continue on...

After the Giants seemingly not tried for 3 games against the Brewers we have come home and won four straight. We are 9-1 against the NL West this year.

I would like to say... The Giants are kings of top spin line outs at the warning track this year. But its ok because we have mega awesome come back abilities.

We just won 3-2 against the Seattle Mariners. Bud Norris picked up the win along with a Save from J. Veras. H. Iwakuma was the loser for Seattle. Sixth win for HOU this season.

Rubber Game is Wednesday afternoon. The roof will likely be closed since rain is expected Wednesday afternoon here in Houston.

So how did your boys do today/tonight?

Are you 🤬 kidding me. For the millionth time, Putz should NOT be our closer. End of story. The guy can't pitch to save his life anymore. I feel we're in a nice pattern this year, get an early lead and then just give the games away at the end. Pathetic. Yet another BRILLIANTLY pitched game by a rookie and the failpin gives it up. Maybe I'll come back in August and see if we're above .500 by a game or two.

Wrapped up minutes ago... we took down the Mariners hard. This victory was a 10-3 victory for the Houston Astros. It would have been a 10-1 victory had Seattle not decide to play baseball in the Top of the 9th. HOU collected 14 hits whilr Seattle got 9 hits. No errors by either team. Lucas Harrell was the winning pitcher for Houston, and J. Saunders was the losing pitcher for Seattle. So the only team we've beaten in a series so far has been Seattle. Win #7 for HOU.

Elsewhere, the Cincinnati Reds took down the visiting Chicago Cubs 1-0.

I salute all other winners today and tonight.
