How do you make cars fast off the start? I know it has to do with your best tires but what else helps like what should I do with the gears, suspension and the more hp will help.

This is for B-Spec by the way.

I modulate the accelerator in time with the countdown, and on the go, I try to get the revs within the car's powerband.

If you get it right, your car will sail off the line! It's not easy to do though, so keep practicing. 👍

I can think of 2 things off the top of my head.

set transmission top speed lower
set to low RPM turbo

I should have put this is for B-Spec, sorry.

Well nothing you can do will make your B-spec driver any faster off the line, they aren't very good.

On the countdown i tell mine to overtake sometimes he zips up to 3rd very quickly sometimes he hits traffic i just keep renewing the overtake option until he s in the lead.. As said above you are in the lap of the god's when it comes to your Bob's .. They do what they want half the time and the other 50% of the time they don't do what you want.

Watch Heikkix360 and holl01 vids, you will learn fast

PS i was trying to win the Grand turismo All Stars Expert level B tec and Bob kept sitting at Pole 7 for 3 laps he just did not have the power to move up which i thought was odd as he is in a better car than most in the race. I quit the championship and took the car for an Engine rebuild reloaded the Championship and the 1st lap Bob is sitting in 3rd place pushing hard for 2nd and 1st .. Maybe the car you are using has too much mileage if so try the Engine rebuild it does make an improvement (oil change too if you really want to spend spend spend)

Well obviously it depends if its RWD, FWD, 4wd and in which way if at all it is biased.

The car will chuck its weight onto the back wheels, so if its a FWD car then having stiffer suspension would help a bit to insure there is less of an up/down movement. Also happens when you brake, the weight moves foward.

BHP helps, but too much will just make wheel spin which will slow you down.
