After today's update :grumpy:, PD better not create a 2.15 update that removes the ability to paint unpaintable cars :nervous:

You're gonna have to look elsewhere for a guide on painting cars like that.

Multiple people have painted theirs without trouble so there must be some sort of error going on.

I honestly can't think of a reason why they would, unless they're getting rid of 5272cc.

Considering that one could hurt people's eyes online, i'm kind of surprised they haven't.

All SUPER GT/JGTC(unless specified)
All Touring Cars(i suspect the alfa is, will check later)
All NASCAR(unless specified)
All LMP/Group C(unless specified)
All GT1(unless specified)
All non-Subaru Rally Cars(unless specified)

Ive actually put that there as a placeholder until all the rally cars are tested. All of the Impreza rally cars bar the WRC 2008 are paintable.

Adding the Standard Mazda 787B Race car ’91 as partially paintable.
 
Just asking but could someone please tell me what are the working codes for the trippy rainbow paint ([deleted] or something like that), and the paint that makes the car totally black?

I've tried [deleted] but neither did work. :(

I don't think its against the rules if you, or someone else tells me the number, I've seen that [deleted] mentioned many times on the photomode forums.

It is, however not allowed to discuss about how to apply said paint to the vehicle.

Mods correct me if I'm wrong.

And the name or the code for the paints is all I'm asking for. I know how to apply them (at least I think so) all I need is the right code.

And if possible, I'd like to have the code for the "default colour" black paint. Thank you.
 
Giygas is correct, we don't allow mentioning the hex values.
 
So far as I can tell I couldn't paint the NOMAD Diablo in chrome silver with one of the hybrid-made-easy-packages

edit: actually read the list this time... okay.

Are there any cars that we don't have on the list yet?
 
I really want to say that we have all of them, if not then we're missing only a few.
 
I painted and supercharged the C7 corvette (yellow), got on the game, and it was a navy greyish colour with black rims.. Looks good to me so I'll keep it. Anyone have an idea why that happened?
 
Did you manually paint it?

Happened to me when I endtered the wrong paint code.

The C7 reverts to Cyber Grey Metallic when you paint it. GM/Chevrolet Probably had this requested so it would be impossible to have a different colored Corvette.

Th only advantage to this is that you can have the Red car's red interior with Cyber Grey now, as the 2 colors have unqiue interior colors.
 
Awesome, now I know what cars I can paint and what some look like with a certain color.

cause I just bought Mazda Furai and it can't be painted.

As far as I know, anyone who has modded anything in GT6 has made extreme modifications to their own PS3.

So no, for the time being.
 
Toyota 7 can't be painted without hack, right? Is because my game won't let me paint that car. Not even in Ford Mark IV...

As for GT6, it can be done even on an unmodified console, but it isn't an easy process, or one that is permanent. I'm on official firmware, no mods or hacking tools, yet can do this. (Before anyone says it, this is not photoshop wizardry either)
