Matra V12 Sound Video

Imagine an alien race came down and unwittingly granted everyone their wishes. They'd have a warehouse full of thumbs, legs, arms and left nuts. lol

I would never ever give them up, even if they have to come off for whatever horrible reason.

Beautiful car, beautiful sounds, I always loved the Matra engines in the F1 cars that I'm more familiar with.
Thnks for sharing.

I wonder how many doctors heard those words before, laugh, and then stare over at their bag of nuts ginning. lol

I don't think male doctors would celebrate if they have other mens' balls of fury in their bags.

Perhaps women doctors, but not men.

LOL. Well I'm not saying they're celebrating the acquisition of the family jewels, just the lives they saved.

And you're right, as a guy you always have to worry about the condition of your package. Making sure the "Fragile: Handle with Care" sign is always visible.

Well this thread has gone downhill...but seriously, that era was positively the best. At least GT5 saw fit to give us a few of the classics. Now if they would just forget about 70 HP Honda Todays and other such meaningless rust and give us more of the "real" classics, I'd be one happy camper. No double clutch or E-diff on that Matra. :)

Renaming this thread and moving it to the appropriate forum...

I want this one, to make Canada and my province, Québec, proud.

The Pléthore LC-750 offers a unique cachet and perfect visibility for the driver due to its central driving position. The interior design welcomes three persons measuring up to 6'3"/1.91 m, something unheard of in this type of vehicle.

The supercharged V8 motor of 6.2 L, which generates more than 750 Hp and allows you to easily reach speeds of more than 340 km/h, is streamlined and extremely simple for ease of maintenance.

This ultimate achievement in design, built entirely of carbon and equipped with a security cage made of chromoly as well as "scissor" doors that open completely, will surely find a place of honour throughout the world of "supercars".

With its optional 1300 Hp motor, the Pléthore positions itself as the industry leader with its weight/power ratio (lbs/Hp) under the 2 barrier. With those characteristics under the hood, it goes without saying that the Pléthore LCS-1300 aims to break the speed world record by a production car currently established at 412 km/h.

That Matra engine is glorious. That's a sound you just don't get from cars anymore, with their restricted intakes and airboxes and buttery smooth fuel injection. Sometimes they even have mufflers!

The Matra V12 dials M for Murderousness within me every time. One of the most awesome sounds in all of the automotive Kingdom.

Plus, it kicked Porsche and Ferrari to the curb at Le Mans for a few years, and looked good doing so, in my opinion...although looking at the detatchable roll-over hoop (hey, it also serves as an engine cover support) would make me afraid to get out of 1st gear.
