My matte green Gallardo LP640 (637HP)





Drives like a dream.

It's a matte grey Evora. I'll get a full picture of it next time I'm back on the PS3!
 
Trying to decide on wheels for it... also to be painted Matte black.

Think I may need to beg someone to trade me some matte paints soon because some of these combinations are gorgeous, good work guys :)
 
I think the Furai Concept would look awesome matte black, but you can't paint it. :dunce:

Can the Citroen GT racecar be painted? That would look good matte black. I can just see Darth Vader driving it...

Done... will have more later with Matte wheels once I decide on a style.

Wheels are a bit dark, but thats how they came (I didn't paint them - afraid to loose the yellow accent).
By the way, does anyone know if that is specifically a yellow accent, or if it is body colored?

I believe the yellow is what they come in. Those wheels were options for my '69 Stingray and they looked just like that with the yellow ring, or they were a very similar style. I forget the exact model but they were from PDI.

You know what would be devastating beautiful? A matte black or dark grey SLR Mclaren. That would just do it for me for today - I would hop on the next subway car from work and grind my way until my SLR appears.

P.S. I am not expected to leave work in at least the next 2.5 hours.

Yea, the model number ends in an N. I just forget the exact model. There were 2 or 3 other versions of the wheel without the N designation.
 
I now have a dark-green matte ticket… I'm thinking it needs to go on a British car, but I don't want to put it on my DB9.
 
GT5's lighting engine is spectacular - it's amazing how it renders matte, gloss, and chrome paints to look just like they do in reality. Few games have been able to manage ALL paint types properly.
 
Do we know what cars you can get with Matte Paint chips as stock?
So photos coming soon :)
 
bah, i got Matte White for my 100 races, wish i'd have gotten the Matte Pink.

Go over to the trading forum and offer a trade. LOTS of people would rather have white than pink. You should be able to get a pink chip and a car for the white.

I've gotten black, red, and light gray. Not bad.
 
I just wrote a post about matte paint, but it turned into more of a whinge about the paint system in gt5 :crazy:

I think I found just the right car for the dark green matte paint

that Cobra looks epic in the matte green color, kinda a throwback to the classing british cars the AC was based off of, with a british racing green'ish matte paint, almost looks like war paint on that car, it's awesome.
