Would you believe this...? No-one actually knows how many Ford RS200s were built...
At the time, for Group B, 200 examples were needed for homologation rules (1985-1986). Ford said there would be 200 at least - but then the group folded-up and Ford just couldn't sell them, especially with the image probelm it acquired (the RS200 killed 7 spectators in Portugal, but wasn't the only killer Group B car).
It's estimated that about 160 (best guesses) saw the real world - around half were factory-prepared Evos - as was Graham Hathaway's record car - with 450hp-650hp depending on what the customer ordered (mostly 450hp ones though). One - the last one - was called the Ford RS200 GTO IMSA and had "about 850hp".
