i know so many people that got away, so many times, its unbelieveable. ill admit though, i ran away from the cops too, only once though, yes only once ive ran away from the cops, and i was about 17 at the time. what happened was, on my way home from picking up my younger bro from gymnastics, we happened to stop at a red light next to this kid we know, and he was in his moms mustang gt, while i had a honda crx at the time. yea guess what happened, we raced, but that kid didnt have much experience with manuals, so he stalled, while i took off. i had about maybe 5 car lenghts on him by the time he took off. as soon as he did, he started gaining on me really quick, and just passed me. after that he started to slow down, and so did i, then all of a sudden, i see this bright ass spot light blinding me, then the blue/red lights flashing. the mustang slows down first, so im in front him, trying to pull over to the right. my intentions were to pull over, but when i looked in my rear view mirror, the mustang had stopped sooner than i thought, so i was maybe 6 car lenghts ahead of it, and still rolling, then my brother yells, runaway! it seemed like the cop only wanted to pull the mustang over, but i wasnt sure, and my bro only pressured me more, so i just floored it, and took this turn into the neighborhood, i knew my way around that area, so i had no problem finding a place to hide. after waiting for about 10 minutes, i went to the house that kid(the mustang driver) was goin to, he was dropping some people off that i knew, so i knew where he was goin. i asked him about what happened(looked pissed), he told me that there were like 2 cops that just passed him, and were looking for me. went on to tell me the cops were asking him about who i was, but forgot what else he said. i started to worry, so i decided to stay at the friends house for awhile. stayed there for about 30 min, and went home a different way. so yea, i got away with it.
Simply moronic. I especially "liked" the part about smokescreens and killing cops with a shotgun.
