Well theres been plenty of times a single user has created multiple accounts, thats why everyone jumped to that conclusion (myself included).

So let's just welcome to GTP R390 Lover and let him enjoy his time here.

Well, if you love the GT-One so much, why don't ya just...

BTW, Toyota and Nissan both have corporate design and development centers in California. The Corrola is now the world's highest selling car still being produced while the Camry has been the best selling car in NA for years--both produced in the USA and Canada (no Canadian jokes, please...yet) at American factories by Americans who work in an American union. Nissan has been designing 90% of their cars at their center in Cali for nearly ten years. Honda? Every Accord sold in the USA was built at the plant that is practically just up the road from me in Marysville, Ohio...by Americans.
Toyota recently opened a research center in Germany, but that was so they could be closer to Formula1 and it's center of activity. But they have a long way to go to catch Scuderia, even with Ralf driving next year.

Yep, completely off topic.

I think I'll start a new account under the name AngelGTx.

The Corrola is now the world's highest selling car still being produced

Hmmm... Not strictly true...

The Classic VW Beetle is still being produced by a plant in Mexico... This to me would make it the world's highest selling car still being produced... (As it's the worlds most sold car ever!)

But I'm not sure if VW are still actually doing the producing!!

Also that Corrola figure is taken across multiple versions of the car... so the new beetle could be classified as adding selling figures to that number surely?

On July 21, 2003, the last old-style Volkswagen Beetle rolled of its production line in Puebla, Mexico. It was car number 21,529,464 of the model, and was immediately shipped of to the company's museum in Wolfsburg, Germany.

You're right you know... Sorry!!

Well either way... that answers the next question...

21,529,464 Old skool beetle were made... Add onto that all the new beetles and carbrios...

How many Corrollas have been made?

I just searched the web and actually found this quote though...

http://www.carpages.co.uk/volkswagen/volkswagen_golf_25_06_02.asp?switched=on&echo=104551964
Volkswagen is today celebrating a very special milestone with the production of the 21,517,415th Golf at the Wolfsburg factory in Germany. With this car, production of the Golf exceeds that of the original Beetle, which is still being built in Mexico.

Slightly out of date (As proved by first quote) so that make the Golf more made than the Beetle...

Hmmm...

Maybe I'm wrong...

that sounds a little... :dopey::dopey:

That sounds a little :banghead: :banghead:   :banghead:

And it sounds utter s**t, too. SO tell me, does R390 lover post random pictures of R390s around the place?? And does he rant and rave and then rant some more about the R390?

Huh?
Huh?
HUH?

...ask himself!!!...my pics weren´t "RANDOM PICS".... i picked them up and put them into some threads!!!!!...so i´m not the one u think of!!!! :grumpy: ...men,men,men...u just see it so negative when a new member just wants to do much and be creative...

GT-One Lover
u just see it so negative when a new member just wants to do much and be creative...

And you're not creative. You're an idiot.

Now, back onto Topic.

The McLaren I know was a long awaited car for GT4, what do you'll plan to do with the McLaren as soon as you earn the car?

To GT-one lover:
Look, they are very slightly, EXTREMELY SLIGHTLY appropriate, but really, they belong as thumbnails if you are going to post them at all. 56k peeps come to a forum about the Mclaren and have to wait about 10 minutes for loads of pictures of the ASL Garaiya to appear.

To Darin: I suppose it would be a great car to set best laps in, lots of things to go wrong or right!!

To Logan, and consequently Darin: I'm not so sure, what's wrong with having a car like that in Gt4?

Extremely slightly? Isn't that an oxymoron?

There's nothing wrong with having McLaren in GT4. Darin's just lacking sleep.

Yes and if you're particularly clever you'd implement packet filtering and not allow any file larger than 50k to be downloaded.

Or, people could post links, allowing people the choice if they want to see the image in question. Novel huh?

It's a controversial idea, I know, but it might just take off.

well i suppose it is, but what i meant was its even more slightly than slightly, you know, by an EXTREMELY minute fraction, even more slightly than slightly.

Screw you 56k WHINERS!!!!

You know, I could report you. Cause 56K on this website is no fun at all. Everything is slow. Its fast whenever. Feel good that your not on 56K, but don't go bragging on about it. I feel the 56K users pain, and you should care for what people are using.

But if you wanna be THAT IGNORANT I could just report you and get it over with. Also, respect peoples usage of the net, some people don't have the money to have high-speed.

Oh, I got a idea! You should ask your cable company to switich to 56K for 1 week and you'll see how it feels.

^ man i feel truly sorry for you guys :( ... i had to use 56kb while i was out of town a few months ago and was dying!! <HUGS> ethernet cable
I couldn't survive going back now being on high speed at work and home for 3+ years.

Hey, DARIN... get off my back!
Go ahead and report me! See if anything happens.
People CHOOSE to come here, whether they are LPB's or 56k crawlers.
I'm just sick of people complaining about some pictures that slow them down.
That is the POINT of high-speed...to get more data faster.
I like looking at the pics, thank you very much.
Why do the high-speed users have to cater to the slower crowd?
If this were a text only forum, it wouldn't be very much fun, now would it?
Besides, high-speed access is required for online play in the very game that
this site is dedicated to.
It has nothing to do with respect...except the respect you have now lost for me.

It's almost like he thought of your arguement before you used it...

DevilGTx

Clicking a link is hardly preventing you from seeing pictures - I have broadband and I find it more convenient to click a link and choose what I see than to have the tables skewed because someone posted a huge image. Attachments are even better as you get a thumbnail of what you're clicking on before you do so.

DevilGTx
Why do the high-speed users have to cater to the slower crowd?

Because it's considerate? This isn't your internet any more than it is theirs. Who are you to deprive them the ability to access things? It's called accessability.

DevilGTx
If this were a text only forum, it wouldn't be very much fun, now would it?

It wouldn't make a difference for the most part except things would load quicker.

DevilGTx
Besides, high-speed access is required for online play in the very game that this site is dedicated to.

This site is dedicated to Gran Turismo and these forums are dedicated to numerous things beyond that focus. High-speed access was not required for Gran Turismo 1, 2 or 3, and won't technically be for Gran Turismo 4.

hmmmm...okay...
#1 -- I get the data faster beacause I PAID for high speed access.
Just because someone can't or won't pay for the same,
doesn't mean I shouldn't be able to get the data that I want at the
speed I paid for.
#2 -- Making a link instead of posting the pix would definitely be faster and
more efficient whether or not the user has high-speed access.
#3 -- Speed does not effect accessibility. Accessibility is determined by the user
and his/her target. The reception of content is determined by the user,
therefore, this is MY internet.
#4 -- Gran Turismo 4 requires broadband for online play.

It wouldn't matter if the high-speed users were considerate to the slower.
I will still recieve the data faster, and they, slower...regardless of the amount.
Why can't the slower users be considerate to me, and have some patience?

No one's stopping you getting your data at whatever speed you're paying for. If anything, more broadband users will reduce your slice of the pipe and slow your internet experience.

I think most web developers would disagree with you there.

DevilGTx
#4 -- Gran Turismo 4 requires broadband for online play.

Officially yes, technically no.

Why would most web developers disagree with me?
As a web developer, my main goal is to get people to come to MY site and
obtain data and use MY services.
I didn't really mean that the internet itself is mine.
I meant this is MY internet just like it is yours, and everybody elses.
Wherever I go, that is my internet.
Okay, I'm done...this could turn into a religious discussion soon or something.

Hey, you live in Oz...can you teach me how to surf?

lol hell no, but I know some people who surf in competitions, maybe they can.

Excessive load times remain one of the biggest things that turn people off going to websites - who's going to want to use your services and access your data if it's not practical to do so? Anything that can be done to save server processing cycles and bandwidth is welcome.

How about that Buddha huh? I mean McLaren.
