They look sort of simular but the Maserati has its design inspiration and looks from the current Maserati range or older cars and concepts or even both.

It's like comparing a Ford Focus and a Aston Martin Vanquish because they have an engine, gearbox, 4 wheels and tires, windows, lights, seats, etc...

I highlighted the similar lines. They are kind of similar, definitely not exact though

windows XP. i miss those days where drawing a line in MS paint didn't require a university diploma.
