Spoiler tags because of names.
It's Crying Wolf after a heavy night out.

I thought it was the real thing until I saw the guy's gut hanging out of his black spandex.

Man, I really love MGS4's intro/menu music.

Sorry to interupt, but, you guy snow about the "Beauty Photoshoot" easter egg, right?
If not, let me explain:
When you are battling one of the Beauties and she comes out of her robot, don't kill her yet. Just wait a couple of minutes(2 or 3) until the screen turns white. After that, take your camera out and she will pose for pics. Here are two I took of Wolf:

Yes. Solid Lifters showed all of us the 1st week after release.

Yea, some of the codec call easter eggs are funny like the 'you're the **** snake!' one with Otacon.

That never happened to me! :grumpy: I guess I'll HAVE to hear it on the next playthrough. I just finished the game with an "Eagle" ranking. I have to say, this is one of the best, if not the best, videogame I have ever played. 👍

Act IV at Shadow Moses, where Solid Snake battled Vulcan Raven in MGS (big snowfield between buildings).

Yea, after the first building you come out into a snowfield (act IV), you need to call Otacon then (he will not call you). Otacon will then proceed to give a lecture about your battle with Raven in MGS1 amongst other things.

not to mention getting the **** scared out of you by the gekkos... it still gets me every time because of how loud Otacon screams every time it happens.

You mean the Gekko covered in snow? I had NVG first time through there so never got surprised, just shoved a missile in its face :P

I tried the codec sequence SL was talking about except that I went back to that area from slightly ahead of it so it didn't work, when I randomly tried the codec later he made the comments SL was talking about... good stuff that is

Has anyone else found the PS3 and PSP in MGS4. I won't give any clues :)

I thought a fair few people would've, any idea what the PSP game played is meant to be?

unless you can think of some Konami games that it isn't obviously not, it's probably just a generic screen, whatever it is looks to be very simple...

Well with the Policenauts background on the computer and things, could be a Kojima title, then again there's a Darth Vader helmet about if you're observant.

I bought the promo bd copy for 20$. finally I can play this game tomorrow :)

I see.

Do any of you guys still play this online? I tried it today briefly and found that the MP5SD is a fantastic weapon because its so accurate, ok it's range and power arent great but you get alot of ammo for it and if used correctly it'll serve you well. Cheap on the DP to.

After spending pretty much a day getting the stupid updates I was finally able to play online. At first it was a little odd, but I got right into it. I gotta say the matchmaking or how you get into a game sucks. Also, what sucks is you're limited to what you can use when you are just starting out it looks like.

I don't use matchmaker, join games manually, trust me.

Its a hard game to play unless you're in a serious mood, which is why i don't get on it all that much. Fantastic at times, awfully frustrating at others.
