So apparently metallica isnt coming to hawaii and they are only going to washingotn while i am here instead of washington. Really blows.
 
You guys wont believe what has happened. My best friend has won a radio contest and he gets to fly down to San Francisco and meet METALLICA and watch them do their rehearsal before the new tour. Thats so awesome.
 
Metallica is a really sweet band, my favorite by far. I don't really like the ReLoad or St. Anger but all there other albums are good. I really like Garage INC. even though there mostly cover songs.

I like older Metallica better then new Metallica but new Metallica is still sweet.
 
I also went to see them last July 4th during the opening of the Summer Sanitarium Tour. That was the best concert I've ever been to.
 
i was gonna go to the concert on march 28 but then id have to fly back home and thats alot of money to go see a concert. even if it is metallica.
 
Well, Me and Buzbo have decided to join the fan club. I have to wait and get the $$ first.
 
Man, I haven't been listening to Metallica very much lately. Something is wrong with me. I am hoping they will start talking about a new album. If they do It'll be good. But after ST. Anger, I can only hope that they don't take the road most bands do and release a greatest hits album and call it quits. If they do make another album, their bassist better shape up and play some traditional Metallica. I've been comparing ST.Anger and all the others. There is way too much difference. If you think about it, someone who listens to Metallica and has never heard of ST. Anger probably couldn't tell it is Metallica.
 
From what ive heard they wont be releasing a new cd until sept of 2005 i think. I like Rob although i think it was more of the production of St. Anger not him that made the cd sound so different. If you were to compare lars in that and lars in almost any other one you wouldnt be able to tell it was the same person in the same band.
 
And the funny thing is Metallica is making a video game alla Twisted Metal style.
 
Does anyone else notice when you put Metallica on in the car you speed like no other? I had in MofP today and Battery came on and I was singing and driving along, I looked down to see my speedo peged at 100mph. I thought it was time to slow it down

i was driving along and the sone "fuel" came on....he he he:D metallica rocks....I have nothing else matters as the ringtone on my cell phopne...its great:D
 
I just bought the S&M and Ride The Lightning albums today. Thing is, I already had nearly all of the S&M and Ride The Lightning songs downloaded - I just like having the proper labels. :dopey:

Favourite song? Fade to Black; the lyrics are awesome, plain and simple. I hope to get the black album and Master of Puppets next.
 
Ride the lightning is awesome. My favorite song on there is Trapped Under Ice.
 
I want to get the Binge And Purge DVD. they got some old videos off of that on VH1 Classic. Metal Mania

I want to get the Binge And Purge SET. 3 CDs and 2 DVDs of live Metallica. It's $110AUD though.:(

Same thing at Wal-Mart, You have to buy edited and they never have good prices on music.
 
does anyone play metallica? i mean like on bass or guitar or drums? i can play a few songs on my guitar

I agree totally ,fade to black is an awsome song.As to my favorite album has to be Master of the puppets
