I've been lookin' for MTV icon stuff too. I have when Korn performed "One" But that is it. It was on the Korn CD single of Did My Time.

korn ez to get u can find in bearshare . but i want metallica medley ...

Metallica Some Kind Of Monster looks like it rules. gotta check it out.

Metallica is cool dudes. I currently only have S&M, and Master of Puppets (I like every song on it), I plan on buying more cd's soon, one will be by Metallica. Anyway I've seen Music Videos of Metallica on Headbangers ball, before they did the Ozzfest Editon, the week before they were discussing their new Movie "Metallica: Some kind of Monster" and watching videos by the band.

I saw that too. it was pretty cool. A lot of those videos I have never saw before so It was cool to check it out.

Quote from my Beavis and Butthead Thread:
Silverzone
There's no contest Butt-Head Rules all. Beavis is just so stupid it makes Butt-Head the coolest. But the show RULES ALL.
At first I thought that Beavis would be your favorite since in the Episode "Madame Blavatsky" Butthead says bad things about Metallica, and Beavis backs up Metallica. Funny scene when they fight.

Anyone seen the movie yet?

Some kind of Moster was a great movie. I really enjoyed seeing all the work they put in to the new CD and how many problems they had.

But what I would like to rub in is that I have 2 tickets to see Metallica and GodSmack when they come to Detroit on October 1st. They aren't the best tickets but oh well. This will be my 2nd Metallica concert and I can't wait!!!!

cool
I got the "classic Albums- Metallica Black Album" DVD. Its pretty cool.

Metallica was in Seattle sometime around March 2004 (can't remember the exact date), I didn't go since it was about $150 bucks, and back then, I wasn't really into Metallica, I started to like them not to long ago (Around July)

Silverzone, I'll join the club, since I already posted, good thread 👍

Silverzone, have you seen Metallica's Movie?

BTW, yesturday, when I was watching Beavis and Butthead, during the commerciasl, it said something about Metallica, usually when they put out tour dates, right before they go back to whatever show they have on, is Metallica in any kind of tour? Or are they just putting out various concerts?

[Sorry, I put turd when I misspelled yesterday]

I don't really know. and I haven't seen Metallica's movie.. which one?

Hey Silverzone and everyones, I found some tour dates for Metallica this month:
http://www.vh1.com/artists/az/metallica/tours.jhtml

The bad thing for me is that there are not in my area, Seattle WA,

(I know that my location thing says Nevada, I just put that there because I like Vegas, which is in Nevada)

Maybe next time or month they will be here in Washington State.
I go to VH-1 for all my information on my favorite artist, including Metallica and Mötley Crüe.

Time to resurect! Some Kind Of Monster should be on DVD in January. I will pick it up. anyone else?

I've just started listening to Metallica. I like Fuel, One, and Enter Sandman. I don't have any CDs yet and I don't excpect to become a hardcore fan like you, Silverzone.

at least you listen to a little of it. They are my favorite band though.

obviously...

I bought Ride the Lightning about a month ago . It makes my 3rd Metallica album. The songs that I like so far are: Fight Fire With Fire, Ride the Lightning, For Whom the Bell Tolls, Fade to Black and Under Fire.

BTW I have: S&M, Master of Puppets and (now) Ride the Lightning.

I will buy Some Kind of Monster as soon as I can. Saving Money for a concert.

Metallica Rules, but I personally prefer Slayer. [I've listened to Slayer longer than metallica]

Since we're posting lyrics to Metallica songs here, I'll post the 'Tallica tune I've been whoring the most lately:

Welcome to where time stands still
No one leaves and no one will
Moon is full, never seems to change
Just labeled mentally deranged
Dream the same thing every night
I see our freedom in my sight
No locked doors, no windows barred
No things to make my brain seem scarred

Sleep, my friend, and you will see
That dream is my reality
They keep me locked up in this cage
Can't they see it's why my brain says “rage”

Sanitarium, leave me be
Sanitarium, just leave me alone

Build my fear of what's out there
Cannot breathe the open air
Whisper things into my brain
Assuring me that I'm insane
They think our heads are in their hands
But violent use brings violent plans
Keep him tied, it makes him well
He's getting better, can't you tell?

No more can they keep us in
Listen, damn it, we will win
They see it right, they see it well
But they think this saves us from our hell

Sanitarium, leave me be
Sanitarium, just leave me alone
Sanitarium, just leave me alone

Fear of living on
Natives getting restless now
Mutiny in the air
Got some death to do
Mirror stares back hard
“Kill,” it's such a friendly word
Seems the only way
For reaching out again

P.S: Master of Puppets is easily the best Metallica album. I do love the Live **** CDs as well.

THAT SONG IS ONE OF THE BEST METALLICA SONGS EVER! I love that song!

👍 One of Metallica's better songs.

Dude, I love that song, I'm going to actually hear it right now.

METALLICA RULES!! (Just like Slayer and Pantera, my two other fav. bands)

[I have already Master of Puppets (S&M and Ride the Lightning), so what album should I buy next? I'm thinking of buying either Kill 'Em All or Metallica. Or is there I should buy before those?]

BTW, I just saw the music video of "Enter Sandman" on one of the tapes that I recorded of Headbanger's Balll. It kicks ass.

Get Kill 'Em All, then ...And Justice For All and then get The Black Album (self-entitled one).

"Enter Sandman" is really the only decent song on that album, that's why I recommended the other two. Metallica's music after (and including most of) The Black Album is, put lightly, garbage. It's sad how their music can go from pure awesome to pure **** in just one album. :(

Enter Sandman and Sab But True are the only good songs on Black Album.

Anything before that is good, but I'm over them. The legend of Metallica is buried in my mind.

No Metallica garbage. Everyone nedds to have Kill 'Em All. that is their best (and heaviest) album ever. it is awesome.

I got Kill 'Em All on Dec. 28.
On Christmast I got some junk and $100.00 bucks, three days later I went to Best Buy to buy some CD's.

(I got: Metallica - Kill 'Em All, Megadeth - The System Has Failed & Youthanasia, and Poison's Greatest Hits)

I'm starting to like all the songs on the album. Especially "The Four Horsemen" "Metal Militia" and "Motorbreath"

Currently listening to the album. I had been listening to Megadeth almost all morning and afternoon, so its time for some Metallica
