Well i went to my gamestop, and they are already selling the PS2 and XBOX versions. PC will be here tommorow, thats what im picking up.

CAMAROBOY69
I am excited about it but I will just rent it. Looks good but im sure the game play will be similar to NFSU2.

Do you think so? I though its more of a hybrid between NFSU2 and BurnOut 3...

Plus there will always be insane high flying jumps that are unique to this series (Not to mention the joy of Drafting and the unreal but cool weight tranfers)

BTW~ A new NFS ("Most Wanted") is announced... And a new Burnout ("Revenge") also...

It's only on ps2, psp and xbox, NO pc. and the gameplay will NOT be anything like nfsu, have u played MC1 or 2? thats a good thing by the way.

I picked it up on the way home from work for the box, pretty good game. I started with the 1978 Monte Carlo. The customization is insane, you can pretty much do anything to the cars. This beats NFSU by a long shot.

everyone go get that new trailer! even if u have the game! its mouth wateringgggg..... mmmmmmmm

I know the cars can all drift already, but is it possible to tune them further to make them even meaner drift machines?

Yup you can adjust a thing called drifted level but thats about it.

Got it... (Have a Golf R32, GTO, 300C, and some bike I won) This is the best Arcade Racer So far... I like how you need to drive every kind of car/bike (club races)... So your not stuck just using one car...

Its good to see that I can just sell those unwanted prize cars also (Got rid of the Bel Air for a Pontiac GTO, and the Lexus IS300 cause I already have the 300C... The 300c looks great on dark grey metalic paint/gold trims/gold rims :) )

No emphasis on changing your car looks either... Just go as you please (I like that)

New moves are pretty useful too... A nice variation between the cars...

Slip Stream is back and is fast as ever... Nice jumps that literally make the car fly~ Graphics improved way over the second installment... Solid (even if it is over the top unrealistic) physics....

Only gripes so far is that there is no Impreza (this is personal) but there are so many cars I like that it isn't a issue...(Lambos!!) And only U.S. cities this time round (Less different area characteristics)... Manuvering with bikes with the L1 button is still a hassle though... I just tape the button down so I don't need to push it...

Car sounds = the worst
Physics = the worst
This game is so unrealistic. 4WD cars doing FWD burnouts? WTF. Same goes with RWD. You have to pull the handbrake to do a standing still burnout. I am so dissapointed.

Even I could have told you that. Seriously though, I'm really thinking about picking this up. I saw some list in this thread that said '69 Charger on it, so that means I have to buy it now.

I like it. It's fun.

I started with the '78 Monte Carlo and it's all blacked out. Grill, bumpers, trim, tint, wheels.

It's really fun customizing your car. Also a lot easier then GT4. So it's good.

Who cares? It's not GT and it's meant for someone who nothing about cars to play.

but theres heaps of in depth tuning options too arent there?

hows the SUVs? are they fun to drive? in nfsu it felt like a chore.

Yup I've only driven the Hummer 1 but it feels much better the NFS by a long shot. You can actually turn the things.

Drift God just modified a Monte Carlo on another board. Mabey he will post all 4 of the pics of it in here. ;) Big difference. Looks sick too.

It seems lots of people started out with that car, and I thought I was gonna be one of the few.

I like the white and blue one best. I don't like big bumpers.

I just bought a '69 Charger and put a blower and a flame job on black. I want to put big wheels in the back, but I don't know how to.

Do I have to put the tire profile down to one before I can make the rims bigger, or do I have to unlock the bigger size rims?

i just changed my car to make it look like a drag car, to get it to look "tubbed" you have to change the rim size to 12 or 13 then go to the rear setup and make the rear tires as wide as they go. here are some pics 👍

lol i dont have enough money to buy the blower, sidepipes & wheeliebar so this is what my car looks like ;)
