I got that bike after beating Phill too, but I don´t have this outfit yet. I have only two brown ones.

My Golf R32 is all tuned up at max I think, only tires are not on max yet. It runs like hell! :)

I also have a Chevy Bel Air, a IS300 which I haven´t even used, and that same Chrysler and bike of yours. I´m currently playing with my Golf to gather money to tune the Chrysler up, then I´ll use it.
 
I only had a few hours to play this over the weekend. I am currently at 16%. I just beat Phil and won his bike. I havent rode it yet.
I spent most of my available time just messing around in the free roam mode online with 7 other people. Absolutely no lag ever on the x-box.
That sounds like it sucks for the PS2 people that it isnt headset compatable. Thats just another reason im glad I have both systems. X-box is ALWAYS better online than PS2. 👍
Once you start unlocking more and more stuff the game becomes a lot more fun. Each set of cars will have a certain item they unlock that can be used against enemies or oncoming traffic. The muscle cars have something that is like a tiger roar and it will clear traffic out of the way once it is charged. The best part is you charge this by drifting. :D The other nice part is you can make enemies spin out when this is activated.
The bigger cars obtain something that makes the car just indestructable. You can literally drive right into any traffic and knock them out of the way. :lol:
There are other special items to unlock but these are my favorite so far.
 
I´ve unlocked the Tuner´s special so far, when you activate it time slows down for a few seconds. Pretty handy when the streets are too crowded. 👍

And I´m pretty happy with MC3´s online mode with PS2. I know not having headset support ain´t good, but I don´t have one anyway. Besides the game has no lag at all, and my ADSL ain´t that great, 320/128. It´s as smooth as single player mode. 👍
 
Driftgods Crysler is sick! We were online together last night with 6 other people and he brought that car in. I didnt realize it said "HEMI" right on the side of the car until I saw it in person. His 57 is also really sick in person. Some guy came on last night with a 69 Camaro that had the exact same stance as my real life 69 Camaro. That was awesome to see my car in a game like that driving around. He even had wheels that were very close to mine in real life. :D
EDIT: I rented the x-box version.

I just got the the Saleen SR last night and it's really owning the competition...in fact I put OWNED on the license plate to let people know.

I beat some girl in a pink car. Forgot her name. Right after I beat her it said I unlocked the cop car. Then I went and purchased it for $0.00. Yeah purchased it for free but you cant modify it AT ALL. Cop car with 20's slammed to the ground would have been sick.
My ulead doesnt capture pics well. :indiff:
 
Ya and you can't race it either, so it's just one of those cars to look at.
 
Yup as far as I know you can, I haven't done it but when you are selecting your cars in the lobby it comes up as one you can use.
 
Ok its probably slow and boring but it would be kinda cool if the lights turned on and you could drive around but it would get boring quick. Might make for some funny videos though. 💡

Yes Vanessa sounds right. It was the 2nd time I raced her. She re-appears later. I beat her with the Monete Carlo.
I forgot to mention that some of the muscle car races are getting really really intense now. I think im on 9 and I am side by side at the finish line now. Thats with 2 stage nitrous and 2 stage everything. 3 stage tires. That is also using the entire "Roar" gauge too as much as possible.
The jump at the end of 9 of 15 is absolutely sick! You fly over at least 2 buildings wayy wayy across town. Good luck landing. :lol:
EDIT: I really should record this the next time I play so I can post a video of it for everyone.
 
yup its just after you beat vanessa the 2nd time, i beat her then went to atlanta and one the DUB ESCALADE EXT 👍

im now at 15% ;)

 
I'm at 50% right now and I'm having a real tough time with the races, they are getting really tough and frustrating. But what did I expect, the other Midnight Club games have been the same way.

Man, I hope it´s not as hard as MC2 was. I never finished that one, I was two races away from finishing it, but it was too damn hard.
 
Yeah, it's getting harder for me too. It probably has something to do with our cars being faster so we have to have better reactions for the traffic and turns.

I always have trouble remembering the tracks.
 
I just hate it how the same car as you is 10x faster and has twice as much nitrous. Oh well I think I'm packing up the single player mode for a while, it's getting to me.
 
Yeah, I'm not liking single player anymore either. It sucks having to try over and over again. I just give up and stop playing.

The only easy ones still are the city races and you don't unlock anything for those.
 
I think the key is to memorize every race course you encounter... So far I've won around 100 races and my retry count is over 300... (done a little 50% so far)

It is frustrating indeed but it feels great when its over... I had a particular hard time with the sports bikes cause one crash and the race is done for... But I started to study the patterns of each course, even when the traffic comes out... And I've won most of them with no crashes (and being in the lead to whole way).... (But hell I retried a million times)... So far muscle cars are the best bet on those all or nothing championships (Roar works great to get those last second wins..) but seems to win cars that are not of my liking (Bel Air :crazy: )

SUV/Truck races are a breeze cause of their slow pace which is great for a change...

My Elise is pretty awesome even against B class cars... The opponents have the same speed its only that they have that n20 tuned to the max... Just use a lower class car with more n2o to win em... (I have more class C cars than B cars just because there are more upgrade options that make em faster than the B cars)
