So I bought Minecraft earlier, at last, spent a fantastic 7 hours hooning around in a server somewhere...still have no idea what I'm doing though

That would be a total nightmare to install on the server and require everyone to modify their clients. Not gonna happen.

VIPs can use Craftbook can't they? How does that work with everyone else? It says on the Wiki that it includes stuff like Cauldrons, surely other players won't be able to see them?

Also how do I even use it? On the Wiki it just seems to give you instructions for applying it to a server and not a lot else...
 
No idea! Things like IC's can be used by everyone. Bridges and gates can only be made by VIPs. Cauldrons I have no idea about. Experiment with it and see what happens!
 
Cauldrons kind of emulate the original style of crafting in minecraft, you build them in world and throw things into them. I don't think they're included anymore.

IC's are made using a sign connected to redstone wire, there's a list on the wiki for what works.
 
I'm online now but I've not got a project to keep me occupied :(
 
We're all waiting until 1.9 so the stuff we build won't be destroyed.
 
ok, I was going around thorncombe when i see a bunch of chests, all but one is kept private by Josh, can i take the stuff in the chest that josh has not left private?

EDIT: I took SOME OF IT, if you get all frowned upon it i'll return a bit of it back to the chest

I'd just like to point out that if a member gets banned, that does NOT give the rest of you the right to start tearing apart their structures.

Yes. Ask one of us (preferably me). If it's a nice house in the middle of Thorncombe, it would be better if it stayed there and was used by someone else.
 
Well in the first place he did not want you there. Despite him asking you kindly to leave when the hill was raised, you ignored him and built your throne thing there.

No, you heard wrong. He said I could build there when i asked him. He is refusing to remember. Remember when my brother helped me build it? Thats when he let me build there.
