Not decided. Not even decided if there WILL be any new classes. It's just an idea that I want to get feedback on.

Its good in a way then back in another. Good as in more of a variety of people just doing what they like then back if they have "special" mod powers.
 
If we have special classes can I be a decorator? Spawning wool of all colours, plus glowstone, torches, and glass maybe?

What machine is it running on? What port is it running on? What address are you typing to connect to it?

It's running on my Laptop, once I get my Desktop I'm going to switch it to that. Right now I have it running on port 25565. I'm typing in my External IP, each time I open the Multiplayer tab, it says polling, then Can't Reach Server, with an X where the 5 bars are supposed to be, like the servers turned off.

If the server's being hosted on the network your minecraft client is connected to, just type "localhost" in the server IP box. This might help.

I'll try that. I'm running the server on the same computer I play Minecraft, is that a No No? :lol: It worked the night before, so I'm not to sure what's going on.
 
You won't be able to connect via your external IP as you are internal. As stated above use localhost or 127.0.0.1:25565.

Nope, apparently they're just finalising the bug fixes. Could be 10mins or another 5 days.

Having said that, there is an update for the dev build we are running so I'll apply that later.
 
Hopefully its not another 5 days er 10 or whatever. Will the update help improve the stuff we have? maybe portals would work.

I would agree it is a bit creepy since anyone can talk.

Wow, they look....horrific. I'm sorry but why go and place a huge brick tower in the middle of a wood and stone village? It's right outside mine and Ryou's houses too. People want to build their own places, not live in a giant tower! Someone (can't remember who) had cleared the area opposite my house for building a few nights ago too.
 
I know I had a house pretty close to the stone one your building, I since removed it since I didn't need it anymore and got my /home back.

Asked me for some golden apples because he "lost" all of his, so I gave him 5. I then look in the console and see him selling around 20 or 30 golden apples to tlowr!

You will never get a town to look the way you want, especially with so many creative people on the server. It may not be a pretty sight in your view, but nothing can be done if it doesn't cause disruption to your land/plot. The same applies for the situation of the build opposite your house. You won't always like what people choose to create with a wandering mind.
