Just call it an epple and see how Apples likes it. Next time they will be saying the golden apples stole their new apple icon. I'd love to see notch take the old rainbow colored apple icon and put that in the game. Better yet the "The Newton Crest" since Steve Jobs never made it. It could avoid their copyright war and even make fun of them.

^^ Bottlenecked system. Should have a higher end graphics chip for that processor. 8GB of ram is overkill. I'd suggest shopping around more, talk to me, nick, and a few others in teh Comptuers and Technology thread before you buy that. They'll tell you. :)
 
Not bad but you still paid a bit too much for the hardware. Same CPU and GPU equipped laptop sells for $779 to $1349 on newegg(both highest and lowest priced laptop has 8GB of ram). The price of the laptop you bought is $1899 in USD.

You do realise this is at the top of the current UK Vaio range and one of the best 'it-does-everything' laptops with enough power to do...everything.
 
It's not that it's not powerful overall, it's that it's not a good setup. A 540M graphics chip isn't powerful enough for that CPU. And the 8GB of RAM is a waste, for a laptop. If you buy another PC, please seek advice from others before jumping in and wasting money on an unbalanced system.

Also, if that's their slogan, I'd hate to talk to the technician for the company...

I don't see what the problem is with that system. Sure it's not the highest end GPU but it's good enough and the CPU and RAM are excellent. The only problem with it is that it's a Vaio which means you pay more for the brand.

I respect your purchase if you like it but there are cheaper laptops with the same CPU but better graphics like this one.

@Tlowr4: You can stop it if the owner feels like they like it. No need to pressure someone.

Well if this is the reaction I get for giving advice, I don't see why I bothered :lol:

In other news, I'm going to try out the Movements mod. I've seen lots of YouTube videos and it looks really awesome!
 
Lots of BOSEconomy errors and then an out of memory error.

I might start stripping out some less used plugins.
 
Yeah I restarted it. I think the Votifier listner is causing problems.

and now ptweaks which is odd.
 
TPing between worlds using /home just crashed the server.

We may have a corrupted world, or the /home plugin has a command line disruption.
