Well you do cause a lot of problems, and thanks to you Strawberry looks like a gorilla's feces with a stack of gentleman's relish for a tower, and that other snow structure.

In short - You made Strawberry less appealing.

EDIT - I can't connect to minecraft.net?

Try building an appealing wooden home. Or if it is something that you think might make others retch, try building it far from any civilization.

And now we're back to square 1 again.

If you'd rather build and make people mad in the process, then go ahead. I won't mind it, considering I wouldn't come close to a town that has one of your towers in it, but others do. If you want to build a tower, go to Rapture/Thorncombe, since it's now just a cluster**** of snow biomes. Leave Strawberry to what appeal it still has left.

That's why I consider Strawberry dead, but of course you had to make that snow tower which made the others look lovely. I don't want to fill this page of bicker, so /end rant.

It was my first proper creation, you could go easy.. It looks pretty bad now that Fiat destroyed it.. But I think it looks rather pretty standard, Dunc even used it as a spawning point for Strawberry.

I said it already.

/end bicker

And is anyone else having trouble connecting to minecraft? I try logging in but it says that there is no connection to minecraft.net.

Jai, put it to rest please, you don't have to have the last word at everything.

And Minecraft.net is fishy at the moment; you can log in, but it takes a few tries.

And yes, sort of. It doesn't have to be sunlight, but it does need to be a light source; such as a torch or glowstone. Redstone torches are good if you want a mushroom farm.

EDIT - And I'm not whitelisted on Adam's server. May I be asked to be?
EDIT 2 - Sorry for the double post, didn't notice.

Very good work, Skilla.

While I ignore the point that you insulted me beyond recognition, Jai, don't expect me to be nice. You compare me to Fiat? Now I have nothing against Fiat, but that's nothing to the fact that you're more like him than me. Let me put this to you:

Have I ever majorly grieved anything within the server? No, unlike some.
Do I rant and rave every second page of this thread? No, unlike some. However I do have my moments, as do us all.
Have I done any un-just to DQCraft by my hard dedication to the server for months, before you even thought about joining GTPlanet, let alone the server? No.

If you have a problem with my promotion, I suggest you find something to rectify that. Or as we say in Australia:

Get over it.

I would just like to point out the "hard dedication" part of your post. While you do spend a fair amount of time doing things, not very many of them are productive in the server. A lot of people spend more time in it as well...don't take it personally; it's true.

And before you get all ranty at me, I would just like you to know that I have done nothing more productive than you have, and that I'm just voicing my opinion...

*Clap clap clap*

Has this been constantly going on for 3-4 months? I'm suprised anyone who reads this thread wants to join any server affliliated with this thread. Yes, the odd issue here and there comes up but 7/8ths of what I read here is a complete waste of space.

So people, if you ask nicely, someone is more likely to change what their doing than being yelled at by text. Next time you have an issue with someone, say it to their face, and suggest a way that the person can improve their behaviour in the community.

This is not rocket science. Bickering and sniping comments brings the community down. actually telling someone nicely your problem with them, and helping them improve makes a very, very strong community.

Jai
Such just isn't possible in our virtual world.. Upon actual contact, perhaps a good, honest dispute could form..

But at the end of the day, we have a pile of kids screaming at each-other over the Internet..

This is why I propose a tazer function on Skype, so you can rant and rave and also cause pain to the other person...it's an important dimension that it lacks

OH no, you're exactly right. But before you even thought of coming on the server, my mark was made there. I slogged my guts out for months, now I'm a lot more laid back. My only inspired creation at the moment is the un-disclosed project, which is held at a stand still till Dunc sorts things out. I agree with you, I do very little in comparison there now, just havn't got the time or the motovation. Minecraft as a whole has gotten a little boring for me, so I think that's why.

Also, if I may, Fiat has asked me to post something (and this isn't directed at anyone in particular, just what he wanted me to post for him) :). And remember boys and girls, he can read it, so don't say much against it or I'm the one that cops it :p

Can everyone stop ranting? Please. It's too annoying. If everyone could just maybe agree on some aspect of "getting along" we would still be able to affiliate ourselves to GTP. But now, we have given this server such a bad reputation nobody, even me, plays on it as much if any.

I am playing more and more on other servers just to get away from the ranting and stupidity that surrounds DQCraft. There are great people on the server, but as in real life, the bad ones are the ones that are noticed, and the bad ones are the ones who give an image, a bad image, to this otherwise splendid server.
