I use wireless dongle internet. And I have 2 different ones from 2 different companies.

It's a little bit better now, but still bad.

Oh and Dunc I'm still set as a Farmer/item spawn, can you put me back to vip?

Hmm. Well the lag is bad on my end as well. It got really bad last night. it comes in waves. It'll be fine for about 45 seconds, then it will be bad for 30, etc etc.

The rank thing is somewhat annoying. All should be of a Player status.

... they are mate. I think the only people that aren't are Admins and Mods. Though mods may be made player as well. Dunc will proberbly assign one admin and one mod, correct Dunc?
 
I dunno, I might keep sheriff and deptuys as well as mods. We need someone to watch over you lot!

Umm, I thought that VIPs could spawn stuff.

And can we name the new world something other than Highbridge? IMO, all the town/world names are pretty lame...why would we want to do the same thing all over again? How about something more warrior-ish to change it up a little? I'm talking about something along the lines of Nightstorm or Blacklock.

Make your own towns and you can call them what you want. (within reason!)

Keeping the Sherrifs and Deputies is a bit much imo. The amount of time covered where Rhys and I are on seems to be enough to catch most the events that goes around. Maybe if you hired someone within the same timeslots.

Blacklock sounds awesome!! (ParkorVeroyns idea)

EDIT: I'll be on in about an hour. Gotta clean my room :grumpy:
 
I was going to suggest something, but then went and edited it when I noticed the what the drawback was going to be. And then I couldn't think of a replacement comment.

OK, I'll be completely honest here, I cheated. I'm not going to tell how I did it, but if anybody wants to know I'll gladly tell. I left everything that was in that chest at my house, if you want me to put it back for somebody else to find. But if you're OK with me winning, can I have the prize? :D

Wow, MyCraft really doesn't like my new laptop :( Minecraft runs beautifully at full settings but MyCraft is just having none of it. I tried downloading 64bit Java but it doesn't seem to have helped at all!

Try allocating memory, Its quite easy with mycraft, just go in the launch options and change 1024 to 2048(2GB), assuming you have 4GB+

You can take what was in the chest but I was hoping that by the time some one found that, everyone would be far on in the new world and I would have a few diamonds to spare, but as it is so early on I can't really give you your prize now :P. sorry.

Just so you know, Rhys's neighbor cut his internet cable because it didn't look nice ?! So he wont be on for a little while.

I totally found myself a cave system I have claimed...I will be building an entranceway and shop sometime soon :D but first, diamonds! And epic torch spam

Not to mention, how do you even know that they are full? There might only be one or two things in there.

You're one to talk, having had chests full of diamond after a few days being on the server when you first joined. How about just being happy that it's there for you to purchase, instead of bitching. Eh? 👍

EDIT: Speaking of Diamonds, MooBaa98 tried to pinch 3 of Enki's. There's a chest in the right of his shop that had diamonds in it. MooBaa claimed it and put a shop sign on it, selling them for 80C a piece. I made him remove the sign and return the diamonds (3 at the time. Enki if there were any more, let me know and I'll get MooBaa to return them to you). I also privated the chest in my and Enki's name so no one can do the same thing. MooBaa also posted a sign saying "GO TO MY SHOP IT"S CHEAPER AND BETTER THAN ENKI'S" Personally I find that insulting since I know Enki worked for what he did, so I asked him to remove it, and the line of cobblestone that he had going from spawn to his shop.

One more thing: Lag. Tons of it. And unbelieveable amounts too. The lag is akin to what it was when the server first started last year. Remember the time of Dunc's bad connection? We had to wait 4 minutes for chunk updates? Well for me, it's like that again. My net is fine, it's obviously been something with the host/overloading the plugins with the new world.

Hey peeps, haven't played for aaaages, much changed over the last month or so? Might hop on the server soon, see what's what. Hearing stuff about a new world? Creative or survival based?
 
I put a diamond shop sign on the chest with the 3 diamonds in it. I believe there is some funny business going on/there is some way people can remove the signs, which is why each of the iron item chests only contain 1 item.... And that I am not selling my redstone.

Well, I guess I should have always just left the chest public so any Tom, Dick or Harry could pinch the 3 diamonds that were in there. That would have been more smarterer! :dopey:

So you can still put just his name on it, even if he isn't on he can still have it in his name
