Alright, so I've been messing around with my single player, but wouldn't mind getting something started on the GTP server at some point.

Thing is, I'm a total noob at this so I've got a few questions.

1. I see all this talk about credits, what are they and how do you get them?

2. Do I need to buy a lot to build somewhere, or do I just choose an unoccupied area of the map?

I guess that's it for now...but if anybody else has any tips for a noob feel free to share.
 
1. You get credits for being online a lot, plus you can buy/sell stuff from/to other people.
2. Just choose an unoccupied area.
 
1. You are given a set amount and you earn 50 credits every 2 hours of play as pay.

2. No. No need to buy a lot. You just find a spot that is a reasonable space away from someone's house and start building. You could also buy a house since the house market is all the rage right now and some nice places are being made.

Oh yeah Sponge, you got the "Shotgun" house for 700 credits, I talked to Steve and he's okay with it. Just pay me 700 credits when you are online.

Edit: Checked out Dust_Driver's dish and took an overhang picture:

Why is there a huge hole in the village?

Thanks Nick. The hanging construction blocks the view of the gtp logo a bit, but oh well.
Was planning on building a new logo somewhere else anyway.

edit: Just remembered that I still have to finish the light system for the dish. So much to do, so little time.

People were looking for Herobrine in the wrong location. I think he's an alien.
Oh, if you want to visit the dish, the rail track starts in the basement of the station.

Because last night sponge decided to use a lot of TNT. She has an explosive personality :p

EDIT: Turtle seems to have left us. He was mad after I think he claimed someone stealing his stuff, and left. Good luck finding a server my friend...

rhys, i have not left, im just gonna stop playing minecraft for a few months. i gave all my stuff and money to EnkiGilbert so now shes beating rykon in wealthiness. see you guys in a few months then...

Through the footpath at the basement of the station, straight on, turn left out of the tunnel, then right and it should be in front of you. It's mainly glass. Price: 750cr.

Someone said they had a shop at rapture, and someone also said sponge had a shop, I've been all over town and rapture and found neither of them...? lol

I have made another house yesterday and I'm selling it for 1K credits. You will find it if you follow the speed link from the top floor of the Station. It's a hanging house with two floors and a pool underneath it all hanging from an overhang. The house also has a safe bridge to it that looks nice and all lit up and connects to Dust_Driver's long cobble road.
 
So how many active players do we have here?, the town looks like it was lively at one point but today is a bit of a ghost town. I think maybe 10-12 active?
