Thorncombe subway is now operational between Thorncombe Tower (the one near the beach) and Thorncombe Tree Stations. Also, someone stole the button from Thorncombe station.

Its just another pre-release jeb saying the official 1.9 will be released at minecon, then 2.0 after that.

Edit I am finally connected...BUT server is lagging quite a bit now. Dont know if the "Queen" is pirating the bays?

Looks like work is throwing out a 2.6Ghz Core2Duo so I'll see if I can get in there and nab it!!
 
^^ Have you got the mobo? I'll have one on Saturday, I could ship it too you if you can wait a few weeks. I've also got a whole dual core system (AMD Athlon 64 X2 @ 2.1GHz) with 2GBs of RAM and an 80 gig hard drive (a slightly downgraded one from the 2.8GHz and 4GB ram that I've built for personal use, which you said "WANT! IT COULD BE THE NEW SERVER"). Meh, put it this way: I've found a shop in my home town that sells heaps of decent stuff for really cheap prices, and even though it's coming from Australia, and it seems weird, it's worth it :p

EDIT: Suggestion: If you have the right socket, see if you can get one of these heatsinks or something similar that's fairly large, and you can overclock about 400MHz, though I wouldn't trust anything more than that on and air cooling system. And I know you proberbly already know this stuff, and I'm wasting my fingers, but meh :p


Also, can you de-premote me back to player please? :)

I should have made it clearer. It's a whole system, not just the CPU.

Why do you want to be demoted?
 
well since the GT5 DLC has been delayed here for the US 🤬 I guess its back to minecraft to prepare for 1.9.

On a side note once 1.9 gets released our 1.8 world is deleted but the island? but our 1.7 would is still there right?

Also, I don't care for my 1.8 building, I did spend a lot of time on the mine, and found the most epic lava pit in history, but I'd proberbly find it all and better in the 1.9 world. I only built that structure in an hour, (all hand gathered) so it's not really that special too me. Just let me grab the items out of the chest (mai diamonds aren't gettin' deleted!)

:lol: I just realized the mass of trees outside my Cosy Cottage in Thorncombe. Trees on top of trees for the win!

EDIT: @DQuaN I'm going to sleep. Now when I wake up in 8.5 hours time, I will log into the server, and I want to see "[Player]tlowr4 has joined the game". Understand? And if you don't, I'll have to have a talking to you! Maybe even strike you with lightning! Oh...wait...

Well the lag could be a few things (Since the CPU was maxing out at 100% is now fixed from what jeb was saying) so it might be lag free server.
