better yet just terminate the server then everyone will lose everything

Actually it was that the Multiworld core wasn't being recognised by Multiworld-portals. Dunc and I fixed it all now :).

EDIT: Bugger, we've crashed. I think it might be a hardware restriction. If the server was pulling 100% of it's memory while only Enki and I were on, I'd hate to think what it's pulling now abot 6 members are on.

I recommend an upgrade! I will fund a portion of the upgrade fees, whatever the differance is between the 10 quid now, and whatever the upgrade is )3, 5, 10 quid, I'll fund it) if it means a better experience. [/COLOR]

Ummm... I hate to say it but I have a 4GB RAM laptop and it still lags with 12+ people (hardware restrictions, not internet), so I can't imagine 1GB....:scared:

it will stop with the bickering, fighting, complaining about how they lost some stuff and yet then everyone can either make their own server or join someone else's

Your computer's hardware has nothing to do with server lag (where chat lags and blocks dissaper). It only has to do with your FPS.

The server has nothing to do with your FPS. It's the chat lagey block thingy.

The server needs an upgrade to keep up with when we have many people online.

It has to do with a combination of both of them.
Hardware for the server and Internet for the other
Since if your only doing 1 MB upload speeds it would take it longer to get chunks.
 
No idea. What did happen?

So the economy system has been changed. Money has been reset.

You no longer get money for being online. You now have to sell either gold ingots or diamonds for cash. 1 gold ingot is 1cr and a diamond is 5. To do this go to the bank in the new spawn town. It is next to the right portal. I'll set up banks in the other main towns too.

I thought we were going by the price list that we made up a few pages ago. 5 credits for a diamond is nothing!!. That's impossible. I'd like to protest. At least 20 credits for a diamond. They don't grow on trees!

No I don't mean FPS I mean that the server is using up all of its allocated memory, causing lag (blocks, chat dissappearing like you mentioned).

I agree, if I gotta go through all that fuss of melting myself, drowning and getting zombie'd to death looking for diamond to mine, a little more than 5 would be cool ...

And gold doesn't exactly grow on trees either! :dopey:
 
It does for me!

I guess everyone's going to have to change their shop prices, eg a diamond leggings requires 7 diamonds, so someone would need to sell those for more than 35 quid in order to profit, not that I have seen diamond armor in any shop, but gold yes.
 
Hmm, not sure we can justify that. Banning should only be for greifing and for really abusive behaviour (racism etc). They can be temp banned, kicked, frozen or muted.

A bolt of lightning does wonders too I find!
 
If only admins actually did that, Dunc, the world would be a better place.

Instead they kick, freeze, mute and ban. KFMB, if you will.

I'm building my tower design in single player. And need to be unfrozen in order to remind myself of the shape, materials and general structure. Along with my other house in Thorncombe..
