You are using mycraft. If you don't use mycraft it will work, its the same way with buildcraft

Oops for double post, it gave me an error said I already posted.

Both of the mods modify the same file so you cannot use them.

Try removing the modloader. Sometimes mods that modify ModLoader files means that it can work without it.

what about other mods that require modloader
and someone suggested mcpatcher, should i use it

As far as I am aware, MCPatcher only does textures. I use it to change my texture packs.

You could try modifying the jar file instead of using mycraft and if that doesn't work, then they just can't be used together.

well tlowr said never tweak the .jar or bad things can happen, so I might uninstall modloader

Well, tlowr is kind of talking rubbish. I always run minecraft using mycraft and my .jar is heavily modded. In fact, 99% of mod instructions tell you to put it into the .jar to avoid problems.
The only "problems" you get are if you combine so many mods together that they interfere with each other in terms of file overwrites.

And every time I go within 10 feet of my jar file Minecraft falls over and dies, modloader or not...

Always delete meta-inf if you are modding your jar. If something goes wrong you can just press the "force update" button when you log in and will reset your jar to default.

Then it's a file overwrite problem. The mod's just aren't compatible with one another.

On the page where you downloaded the mod, did it say what it wasn't compatible with?

Similar with Jai, I've been working on a project of mine in my server.

What do you think of it?

It's a racetrack named after the city near it (Rockport) and it is supposed to be a track owned by Ferrari. The little buildings near the pit building are the team tents. One for Ferrari and their trailer, next to it is McLaren, and the blue one is a merchandise stall for Red Bull Racing. Inside the pit building is the garages, the floors above it are the viewing areas. There are 5 garages for 5 teams, Force India, Mercedes GP, Red Bull Racing, McLaren, and Ferrari.

The track itself is a power track going counter clockwise. It runs straight through an artificial forest and you go around it through minecart.

I'm very proud of it, but I want to see what you guys think. So, did I do good or bad?

*sigh* Can't give up on insulting me, can you.

If you mod your .jar, MyCraft won't work, simple as that. Frostyboys, shoot me PM's to sort this out. I don't want you getting false information.

Not everything that sounds rude and is directed at you is an insult.

Sorry but you're the one giving him false information...

Here's my tip: Read the instructions carefully on the mods you want to install, and take note of the mods that may overwrite with the mod you use. I have about 15 mods in my .jar (Heavily modded) and MyCraft works fine.

Fine, fine, whatever. I give up. Can't help people these days without someone putting their 2 cents in. And a poor 2 cents at that (not directed at anyone in particular, just saying overall).

@theotherspongey Well perhaps if you stopped writing it rudely, it wouldn't sound like an insult. 👍

Gonna jump on now for a few mins. Join me Dunc!!

Don't you just hate it when you finally made an enormous house but you forget to make and use a bed and don't know where it is?
