What is your opinion on these?

I want to use them for my MP3 player.

Would you be using these at home, or…?

If you're using them at home, then there's almost no reason to not just use your computer's MP3 files and feed them through a good set of speakers (like Creative's i-Trigue i-3350, which is what I have :D). As Jmac said, with those little dinky things, you totally lose your bass.

On the other hand, if you're specifically buying these small speakers because you need to use them elsewhere (my philosophy is that if you're outside of your house, you might as well use your headphones), then these are probably the way to go. It's hard to go wrong with Creative. (Not that I'm biased or anything. :D)

I've seen a few people at school using those, this sixthformer had it plugged into her ipod on full volume, and it sounded great!Don't expect suberb quality though, especially on high volume

I've got one now. The sound quality is very good, but as you would expect the bass is weak.
How did you get your hands on one here? Creative stuff is pretty hard to come by.

Technically you just contradicted yourself ;)

Sound quality = accuracy of reproduction

If it doesn't accurately reproduce the tone and level of the lower frequencies, technically sound quality is poor ;)

Sounds good, on the other hand, is a valid opinion :)

👎 waste of time and money

My Mp3 player transmits so 9 times out of 10 I have some sort of radio accessible to play music for me or everyone. :D

I haven't been able to find their home page since I lost all my bookmarks but here's where I bought it from...

Muro Mp3 player I'm not quite sure what happen to the 512mb version but that's what I got from them. :D:tup:

Yeah even Kicker mids in a car stereo has horrible bass. It gets very distorted.
Kicker Resolutions were used in many sound quality-competition winning setups ...

Also, the enclosure, positioning (on/off axis), crossover settings (or lack of), and amplifier play a huge role in how good speakers sounds ... Most of these are severely lacking in the typical car audio setup ...

Not saying that's the case with you, just saying it's not as easy to say something sucks in car audio as it is with, say home theater, because of those and other reasons ...

i just bought some low quality surround sound speakers for 29.95 at office max (or depot)...they are by interactive...bass is excellent and sound quality isnt horrible
