That bug is not just for the Gr. 3 races, the same thing happened to me with the Gr. 4 set up. I hardly ever take part in the warm ups so I would check up the settings before the races start but then everything would feel completely different than before, especially with the gearing setup.

On another note, I've tried the set up with the Gr. 3 GTR. It handles really well, though so far i've only managed a 1.59 in terms of lap time around the Nurb GP with it...need to work on braking I think...Any chance you could look at the M6 GT3 for a tune?

Thanks for doing those by the way. They are really helpful, especially for those who are learning how it is done or have very little knowledge of tuning.

GTR GR.4 setup for Kyoto driving park yamagiwa does not work for T500RS-wheel. It makes me slower than the default setup :|

I hate how the G29 is such a faster wheel compared to the T500. I'm buying a G29 as soon as I can just to get rid of this "handicap". It's been in GT since GT5 (compared to Logitech wheels) and I'm fed up with it.

To anyone considering buying a wheel (that's reading this), if you truly want to go for the fastest possible lap time, buy a G29 (or play with a DS4), do not waste your money on a T500, T300 or a TGT for that matter. Hell, even my old DFGT was faster in GT5 & 6 (compared to my T500).

While these setups help, I just can't keep up. Maybe I suck or maybe it's my equipment (T300) but I'm stuck in lobbies full of S and A rated DR drivers and I just can't keep up. I'm pushing as hard as I can but I just can't do it. They always have speed where I can't seem to find it. It makes no sense. So frustrating. I haven't come in the top 5 in like 2 days of racing. I hate it man. I'm not competitive at all.

So i use the T300RS and have no issue. But have no compare to a G29 .

When i bought the T300RS 2 years ago ,
I Tested both of them in an Electro Market and found the T300 has better Quality.

As i know, the T500 is more a PS3 Wheel , the T300RS has been developed for PS4 ..

I dont understand why the g29 should be that much better than the T300RS for GT

Drove two identical setups in this daily group 4 race in qualifying, on a G29 at a friends house I could do 1.42.5's easily and when pushing I got a 1.41.95x.

At my place, on my ps4, on my psn account, same setup, same car. Couldn't get under 1.44.5xx.

G29 beats T500 without a doubt in my mind. You can't go as fast on a T500 as you can with a G29.

I don't know about T300RS because I've never used one.

Ok 2 seconds , that is really a huge difference .
As i wrote, the T500 is an old Wheel which was developed for the PS3, perhaps it’s too slow..

Would be interessting for me if the T300RS has same issue in compare with the G29

Strange, do you mean faster regarding input lag or something else? What is it that you think is giving you better lap times, faster response in steering or the pedals?

Maybe because the force feedback is stronger in the T500 and thus you're having to work harder for each turn, counter steer etc.

Great work OP, shaved 2 seconds off my best time with the GT-R one my very first lap at Kyoto.

Do you have any MR Gr.4 cars you've raced at Kyoto? As I'd love to know your set-up for one of those, I was able to knock a second off my best time in my McLaren when I used similar values to what you've used for the GT-R but the F-R ratios adjusted to suit a MR, so I'd love to see how you'd set-up a MR car at Kyoto.

maybe next week i try some mr cars in grp4 iam actualy fallen in love with the grp3 ...

You're setups are spot on. I was holding my own at Kyoto, but middle of the pack. I'm now 2-3 seconds faster. Great work Brother.

To get his GTR GR.4 gearbox values for KDP Yamagiwa:

1.reset gearbox to default
2.change final gear to 5.000
3.set maxspeed 200km/h (124mph)
4. Set each individual gear ratio
5. Set final gear from 5.000 to 4.640

Gear speeds if done correctly
1st gear 79mph/127kph
2nd gear 93mph/149kph
3rd gear 106mph/171kph
4th gear 119mph/191kph
5th gear 131mph/211kph
6th gear 149mph/239kph

You're welcome.
Thank you, this worked!

I have to thank you for the setup you posted for the Scirocco Gr.4. I qualified P4, and won the Gr.4 event by a healthy margin. I'm looking forward trying your other tunes. BTW was using my G27 with the Cronus Max Plus adapter.

nice to hear :)

I use à t150 with t3pa pédals and i goo 1.41.4xx ni kyoto (PSN GT_Academy_club) For me bretter wheel its the t500. The wheel dont make cars fast;diferent wheels only give better confort to driving.Force feedback is there guys xD

First of all let me introduce myself, my Name is Dominik Allram, Iam 28 years old and Iam living in Austria (Vienna).

I drive Simracing since the end of 2004, I started with GT FIA Racing game, better known as GTR / GTR2.
After that i drove Endurance Championships in Rfactor and last i was competing in Iracing.

My Input Hardware started with a Logitech G25 and end in a Clubsport equip from Fanatec. (On PS4 i drive with G29 right now!)

Now i want also to compete in GT Sports and i will try to let u guys know my setups, to help out the best i can!

IMPORTANT: Looks like there is a transmission Bug right now in the Gr.3 and Gr.4 Races if u are not driving the Warm Up. It resets the Transmission before the race!👎

sometimes the brake balance and TCS values are also restored before the race starts - in the digital release anyway

Hello @MINKIHL, I would like to request and recommend that you put each of your tunes, into their own respective post.
Would that be a possibility? I'd like to make them more readily available to the public, and linking people to a single post with a list of tunes isn't quite as effective. Thanks.

One question to Brake Balance Setting , Dominik :
What is the advantage to Set 5 ( rear Brakes more sensitive ) ?
First when using and testing your Settings , i thought -5 is meant

Today i tried the AMG and the GT-R on Nürb Gp .
Booth felt not so comfortable for me than the 911 RSR.
With the GT-R , i am able to get same Laptimes like with the Porsche ( 1:59 ), what was Strange for me First

I have to Test more different Settings for the LSD

lesser slip on front while breaking and turning into corner... i like that

edit i dont drive often with the porsche because i dont like the cockpit wheel
