mod chip question

hi, just a quick question about mod chips,
do they allow your ps2 to read SVCD's?

Hey do you know where to get the Divx player software from?

Mind you last time I looked at a DC dev site they had a divx player for that as well.

Naw, I decided to go for the cheaper Messiah 2. Seems to work fine. I can now play GTC 2001 and get GT4 this year.

Woah! thats helluva cool, I can now watch Divx videos on my PS2.

Now to re-burn my Initial D episodes using disk at once.

I decided to get the DMS3 chip.
I was thinking about Magic chips before but then again that I use PS2 as my dvd-player DMS3 was better. And the ability to install programs (like that Divx player) on the mem card.

So the DMS3 can play vcds but the messiah 2 chip can't

No, do you ever read anything properly?

SVCD = Not on any PS2
DivX Videos = On the majority of chipped PS2's

I managed to watch my Hand maid may eps and Initial D episodes on my PS2.

The only thing is i'm still a little unclear on how to correctly burn a cd to be compatible with the player.
