You missed time of day.

Why is it medium tires? We've been practicing for weeks on soft tires and I highly recommend you turn penalties on. Otherwise laps that shouldn't be counted as a clean lap will be counted.

Just laps. I'm not in the series but I'd suggest turning damage off for qualifying. The purpose of qualifying is to give everyone an equal chance at putting in a couple of fast laps so they can get their tier placement. With damage on you run the risk of someone ruining a qualifying lap because of damage and with only 10 laps it doesn't leave a lot of time for mistakes. Better to just let everyone qualify without having that extra headache and save the damage for the real races where it matters.

What does "real" time of day mean? The time progression has a real setting but you still need a literal time of day.

I wonder this as well, for Silverstone would this be the time of the event in EST (so 2pm) or would this be the local time at the track? Just wondering cause if we go with local time it'll be nighttime on a lot of the european tracks.

Every Track we Race at. It'll get adjusted with the Country of the Track we're Racing at.

No problem, we're gonna have a fair amount of evening/night races then.

2PM EST is 8PM in most of Europe (UK it's 7pm).

I'd say do some as night/evening and others as daytime. Maybe do night races on the tracks that have 24 hour events IRL (there's quite a few as far as I'm aware) but Monza at night would be my worst nightmare :p

I always use http://www.worldtimebuddy.com at work to get all the different times in different places so might be worth having a look here and seeing how late/early it is in the various places.

The next patch is going to change the Time Trial time of day to 11:00. We could use that for qualifying and day races. Then sometime late evening if you want to do a night race.

I say start in the Day with the Race ending at night.
 
Just seen in the other thread quali is due to start on the 31st May!?

I'm actually going on Holiday on the 30th For a week, any chance I can run a quali lap on the 27th/28th? I won't have chance to otherwise......

On the same note, as you've got 48 people to organise it might be worth doing qualifying sessions over a couple of days to make sure everyone can make it as some of the guys might be called away or something similar

If we say the 27th, can someone set up a lobby early evening for me and watch my session/record my lap times so I can then be placed accordingly?

Im back the following Saturday (6th so am good to go on the 7th)

Also I've just noticed the car picks, can I put myself down for the BMW Z4 please.

So I'm Pro without Qualifying? cool :D

I don't know in which order the drivers are allowed to pick the cars. So My preferred car is the Z4. If it is taken, the Aston and if this is also taken, I take the Audi R8
