On a serious note,i dont use gtplanet much so i dont know who has a sense of humour and who doesnt,so......

2.im a sarchastic brit
3.im a sarchastic cocky brit......
I think you can see where im going with this so if anyone is ever offended by me or anything that i say and unsure as to wether or not im joking,rule of thumb is,"im always ****ing joking!
So......did we just become best freinds????

Basically I want to get my hands on the game before I unleash my lack of skills on anyone in online mode. I'd hate to ruin anyone's race weekend. Also I'm interested to see how various issues are handled throughout this series as they arise. So yeah, probably will join up in season two. Good luck with it

@MrMattAdz have you been on codies f1 forums!woah they get drama,but then they got issues,i got put in jail on there by the beardy bloke justbiglee.

Since my wheel probably won't work I'm hoping to get a new one by mid summer. Being a wmd member and finally experiencing the game for the first time the other day a gt3 series should be a blast.
 
Just been reading over the first post and all seems good but I do have a couple questions/suggestions.

Can someone confirm the UK times for me? It was my understanding the tier qualifying started at 7pm GMT but now Google says 6pm? That would me the actual races would start at 5pm?

The points payout. I think it would be a good idea to have more of a spread. One point difference between each place isn't enough IMO. Should be more spread out to encourage people to fight for positions, particularly towards the end of the series. Something more like the F1 points system perhaps?
 
On Sunday's I can make it from 6 pm CET (Berlin time). Before that it's not possible for me.
What's up with the numbers you guys picked when copy pasting the list?! Will it be like my start number for the season?!

No, the list was to see how many people could still make it for qualifying, some people picked their place on the list due to favourite/lucky number, others just added their name sequentially.

The race will be at 7:00pm gmt, qualifying is 45 minutes before hand.

I agree with you on using spaced out points, but I think the thread was split on the idea. Maybe a worth putting it to a poll to see if there is a majority vote?
 
I am in the 1pt difference between positions group. Rewards quality driving instead of knife between teeths attacks. If i am 2nd ( that will never happen ) and i know there is a 5pt or 10pt difference for the 1st place. I wouldn't think too much about the risks of pushing around in the last corners.

Surely having such a large gap between positions would make you push even harder for first place? If there was only a 1 point difference then I personally would be happy with playing it safe.

This was exactly my point. Particularly towards the end of the season if there's only a few points between the championship standings.

1st: 18 Points
2nd: 15 Points
3rd: 14 Points
4th: 13 Points
5th: 12 Points
6th: 11 Points
7th: 10 Points
8th: 9 Points
9th: 8 Points

11th: 6 Points
12th: 5 Points
13th: 4 Points
14th: 3 Points
15th: 2 Points
16th: 1 Point

I found it worked well, but im happy with whatever we go with. Lets put it to a vote 👍

That seems pretty fair, a couple of extra points for winning. What about a point for fastest lap, or would that start to complicate things?

Just to add, I'll be happy to go along with whatever point system is decided.

I have been i series were they did have extra points for fastest lap, but i wouldn't bother with that.
