Any word on when we can expect it on the PS4? I would hazard a guess at up to a week, it's probably waiting on Sony to put it up.

We will probably need to test post-patch and make sure we don't have any problems.
 
After they summit the patch to psn, usually takes 2 weeks for them to test . That's how it easel for battlefield. I know for a fact that EU will get it first. If not those dam convicts will lol NA always last

IF Steam has the Patch. We'll get it by next week Tuesday or Thursday.
 
When did the limited car picks start ? I thought any team could pick any car that was on the list.

1 hour race should be a simple task to accomplish with some new friends.
MPOV: You go out there and try to beat your own limitations first, and if you take over some positions in the process, even better.

But humans love to complicate simple things!

Not being the fastest around here does not mean that I'm the dumbest around here.
I don't want to race for, let's say, 35 / 40 minutes just to get into a random pit penalty bug in a lottery system. It just not make any sense. Even the game itself does not have an option forcing it. It's a recipe for trouble.

Why not keep it simple as possible? We go for a "lean" first season, no rain, no night, no pits. Than, we learn what work and what doesn't. From this point we can try some changes here and there. A few patches later will get this game even better and there we go, season 2! Evolving and adapting, learning and growing. Well, that my opinion after all.

Keep it simple!

As the patch is out does anyone fancy a 30 lap race round a non-series track (keeps setups hidden) to test this? Ideally we would need to organise time/date and what not.

Edit: so the patch was delayed until Logitech announced the G29 and would have been ready to go earlier. I'm actually really annoyed that it costs the same as the T300!

Patch out anytime today not out yet.

I'll be honest I'm not enjoying PCars as much as I was hoping or as much as GT6.

I currently don't have the desire to even play the game at the moment :(

Sorry to let you down but I'm just underwhelmed with it currently.

After the game gets up dated I may come back but for the moment I'm out - doesn't help that this still hasn't started and general confusion of what the rules are/will be!

Your decision to drop out. The Rules are set in stone. The Patch will make the game a lot beter. Well i guess we'll see you around.

@McGerty (@Over Active) has had to go into hospital and so will not be online for some time and therefore will not be able to race in the series :(

I am sure everyone wishes him a speedy recovery and to be back on the track soon.

Hope he's alright, he will be back in no time and beating all of us!
 
Quick update on the weather at Road america on and around the day of the race: at the moment it's looking very likely to rain, heavy showers are possible with a chance of thunderstorms.

Thought I'd give a friendly warning so you can all do some preparation for that kind of weather, as we want this first race to go as smoothly as possible.

Nice post Buddy. I saw the Weather on Road America on Monday. With me living in the States. That Weather could change. We have weird Weather here. Check it a Few days to the Race.

Anyway, when does 1.4 come out here in the States?

Some of you have mentioned. Racing in the day, but the Racing ending at Night. How would Le Mans and the Nurburgring sound? We could have another Race, with a Day time and the Race ending at night.

Those two are quite a while away, but if the game is working then I see no reason why we shouldn't have a night race or two (as long as the tracks are well lit). Maybe do it on all the endurance tracks?

Yes! Spa at night is great. That + Nordshleife and LeMans would be the 3 tracks with the most prestigous 24h races
